This is the Wuhan food market. They eat all kinds of animals, even otters. What's wrong with them?

That's the market the coronavirus came from btw. Just look at this

You know it was a bioweapon, right?
>>544
That's not proven, and that's not the point either
As far as I know otter meat doesn't even taste good. Why do they eat it? Is it some traditional penis enlargement medicine for them or something?

Why must they rape babies (and their corpses)?
Can't they get their sex drive under control?
It is because they are alpha, and they do not care about your feelings.

Is there any logical reason why people love otters so much?
For me, the first time I fell in love with otters was when I first encountered them at the zoo, squeaking, running around and having a good time.
That's when I understood that they are certainly good for your soul, and my affection for otters has only increased since.
But I just want to know... What is their secret? How do they so easily enter the hearts of all who lay eyes upon them?
Is it because they're cute? Is it because we relate to them?
Or is it magic?

Just take the otter pill already, anon.
I had a dream about otters tonight... I was sad to wake up.
Otter is not just an animal. Otter is a sensation, Otter is an emotion, Otter is a state of the mind. It can't be described in words. You just gotta feel it.
Otter = Lux Mundi. The light of the world.

They do behave like dogs, just more fun and in the water. That's why they are called "water dog" in many languages.

BRING THE BOYS HOME Anonymous 09/04/2019 (Wed) 22:10:28 No. 35 [Reply]
You wouldn't believe how glad I am to have this place back. It all felt so empty without otters. Losing /otter/ was probably the worst part of losing 8chan.
You know, I was browsing around smuglo.li and the webring for a month, and it was fun, but all I could keep thinking was "Man, this place needs some otters."
And here we finally are.
Now the task at hand has to be bringing our boys home, cause we never finished the bunker discussion so everyone just went all over the place. Therefore, please do paste the link to this board wherever you suspect some of our lost brothers may be dwelling, until 8chan returns and we finally get our glorious board back.

I wouldn't risk it friend. From what /tech/ is saying its gonna be practically a honeypot. Theres forced JavaScript, captcha, and servers route through the nsa. Let alone all the kids whonare gonna swarm the place and flood out the comfy small boards because their edgyer 4chan is back online

I have zero interest in 8coon, it's never going to work anyway and even if it is, the admins still only care about the needs of merch-buying qcumbers. We've made ourselves snug in the webring and I want it to stay that way.

I'm not afraid of the NSA. I'm not doing anything illegal (except perhaps being a bit loose with copyright stuff like many people online) and all they perhaps know of me is my ip address and my love for otters, so who cares.

But I probably go wherever there is the most activity. The old /otter/ has some quality threads.

I like how we exchanged otter related anime on this thread: https://8kun.top/otter/res/63.html . Kawauso Labo was a great discovery and I hope there will be a rerun on TV Tokyo.
>>437
Well, this seems to be the place with the most activity. I'll be looking after both boards though.
The first videos I played on YouTube this year were some otter music videos, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuUhbKmS6Co

These are pretty good, thanks anon.

CATS ARE KILLING SEA OTTERS
A brain parasite carried by cats is eating sea otters' brains and making them retarded.
>“The brain is no longer able to function and tell the body how to swim,” said Dr. Karen Shapiro, a veterinarian and pathologist at the University of California, Davis. The parasite, Toxoplasma gondii, enters the otter orally and makes its way to the brain, where it can cause swelling, weakness, seizures, disorientation and death. If the parasite doesn’t kill the otter directly, it can render it more likely to be hit by a boat or eaten by a shark. Among California sea otters, a protected species whose numbers are closely monitored, Toxoplasma infections contribute to the deaths of 8 percent of otters that are found dead, and is the primary cause of death in 3 percent.
>Scientists have been working to determine where the Toxoplasma comes from and how to keep it from striking sea otters.
They have long viewed one potential culprit with suspicion, and a study published last week identified the offender definitively: house cats.

Otters seem to be more than cute and based, thats more than what can be said for cats.

I think cat girls are alright, but otter girls are the best!
It's better to live one day as an otter than 100 years as a cat.
First they come for bird now they come for otter. I have had it with those devil creatures.

Do you own an otter plushy?
I do, and it receives many cuddles every night. Bought it at the zoo.
I just can't fall asleep without thinking of otters.

Haven't decided on a name yet, though. Any ideas?
