ITT: Bad pieces Legoman 12/12/2019 (Thu) 00:36:46 No.154 [Reply]
Starting with this. Who the fuck came up with this? It almost fucked Exo Force over.
1 post omitted.
>>154
I had a Knight's Kingdom figure and these joints would always worm their way apart when you played with them. I can understand why they went with a clicky joint (stable poses) but it was still fucking annoying.>>154
>>173
And they were so stiff when new, which made it even worse - when I got my first (and only) Bionicle, my mind was blown away by the ball joints that allowed a greater choice of movement. I wish they'd gone for the more Bionicle route for the big figures.

Super jumpers.
>>592 Has anyone ever got one of these working?
>>612 The minifigures jumped with the super jumpers. But it was hard to remove from the legs; some people said that the jumper broke their minifig.

Picked up 70671 Lloyd's Journey recently and overall its a great set. I'm seeing in several places that the set is being reduced right now, which only makes it better.

The set itself is a nice little fort for the ice samurai and its quite compact but good looking. Would be nicer to have more space for the ice guy to stand on, but that can always be changed.

The ice samurai is by far my favourite minifigure in the set and pretty fucking cool. The printing on his face is perfectly fine, but his torso printing needs more work - the white printing on top of the dark red isn't thick enough so it looks slightly pink.

The dual molded armour and helmet has to be the best part of this set and it looks really effectiv. The armour looks the same from both sides and the alternate face on the samurai means you can buy multiples of this guy and vary them slightly -definitely makes the set more appealing for army building,

Not much to say on the wolf other than she's good. Standard 1 POA on the neck and the red printing on the tail is slightly blurred, but otherwise everything's good.

Lloyd's torso and leg printing is pretty bad - the yellow area (which is meant to be skin) looks like lime green and the gold printing is already faded in places. His accessories are cool though and at least his face printing is fine.

Apologies for the less than stellar photography, I quickly took photos using natural light so they aren't the best they could've been

Picked up a bag of extra dots and I'd recommend them. Comes with a decent colour selection (though a bag with less pastel/bright colours like dark blue, dark red, and dark green would be much better) an the pieces are useful for tiling. As for the emojis, I picked up this pack because of the skull (turns out I got 2 which is a bonus) emoji, and was hoping that the diamond and leopard print pieces were in there. I was hoping I wouldn't get the shit emoji, but lo and behold there was 1 in the bag. At least the bags have clear windows so it isn't a blind bag.
>>315 >At least the bags have clear windows so it isn't a blind bag. Good to know. I thought that might be the case but I couldn't tell from the render image.
>>318 Now if only the CMFs would follow suit... But seriously its nice to just have to look inside for which emojis are included rather than buy multiple bags for the ones you're after. I also forgot to mention that the bag advertised that there were 109 pieces, but I got 115. Not that I'm complaining, but it doesn't add up. Weird.

You can get a rubber mold from the Lego store and I made chocolate Lego figures with them. Bretty gud, and they're roughly minifig scale too.
