Commence Operation Rebuild /Late/!!!!!!!!!!! Anonymous 02/18/2023 (Sat) 01:41:39 No.125 [Reply]
Before we start, we should consider if you guys even want to rebuild posts from old /late/. Or if you would rather let the new board fill up with its own new posts? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sorry Anon, but i'm taking over your thread. (I will also be unpinning the radio thread for the time being if you need it >>>/late/3 ) Commence Operation Rebuild!! Its time to rebuild the board using the archive given to us by the /robowaifu/ admin. I know that other boards such as /robowaifu/ and /comfy/ also offered to help us rebuild the board so we should invite them. If you think other boards such as >>>/ent/ and /kind/ (https://kind.moe) would be willing to help out then reach out! So first things first, thanks to the /robowaifu/ archive bot we have an archive of /late/ dating back to june of 2022? https://anonfiles.com/154731R8yb/late.7z_001 (524.29 MB) https://anonfiles.com/50Ue1fRay1/late.7z_002 (524.29 MB) https://anonfiles.com/09l0wfT3y5/late.7z_003 (524.29 MB) https://anonfiles.com/51scx2T7ya/late.7z_004 (524.29 MB) https://anonfiles.com/j9y3xaT7y2/late.7z_005 (524.29 MB)

>>125 Hi /late/ visitor here. Do you all have some kind of priority for what threads you'd like to see rebuilt, and maybe in what order too? Also, just as an aside if you're planning to convert your bunker into your home, I'd suggest you mention it to the site's Admins over on >>>/meta/ as well. Cheers.

Welcome to /late/ The rules are: >Global rules apply >The Board is NSFW, however, just keep it to a minimum. >>223 Maybe the old owner sold it to someone to host that weird Bitcoin payment system instance, or maybe himself... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It saddens me a little bit in a certain way seeing the og late domain hosting this shit.

Making a thread here now. Post any issues you have or changes you want to see in this thread Radio worked without issues for few hours as my last post. So I think it's working Radio: https://latestation.live/ previous posts: https://wirechan.org/late/res/27.html

I come regularly to listen the radio, sometimes I upload stuff but everytime I check the upload list. Glad to see new music is still posted. Thanks friends.
Not sure if this is intentional but 6グラムの星 by Shizuka has a guitar solo in the middle that is absolutely not comfy, sounds like its either compressed to hell and back or it's just that bad.
>>339 I think it's just like that You can listen to it on YT and decide for yourself if you want https://youtu.be/lTBM72vQI50
>>339 I uploaded it and I don't pretend to have golden ears but for me it sounds pretty good implying it's from an old VHS rip of a live performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lK15dBlLiU I may have uploaded the original version but damn, this live rendition is way more emotional. The one from 終わりのない夢 is pure bliss to : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYfDM9m-wtw
>>344 Just thinking, mayuber the file didn't like the OGHG conversion as I didn't listen to it afterward...

>>187 >Anon, there's still hope for a proper /late/. These little corners of internet should be preserved. This. So, apparently this is /late/'s home now?
>>342 Oh, I meant to ask. Is the /late/zine gonna be restarted too? I hope so tbh.
>>342 That's how it looks to me. We don't seem to have any capable hands to build/maintain a /late/ with its own domain as of now, so we may as well get /comfy/. I wouldn't say this /late/ is bad, we even have a new radio we can easily add songs to.

Who on /late/ pumps iron? What's your routine? Do you take any supplements? What are your goals?

I do SL5x5 with aux lifts. Been doing it for years. Bought a home gym and it was a great investment. I take fish oil, CMZ (Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc), and boron for exercise and then theobromine and sometimes baby aspirin on the side for general blood circulation.
Was a calisthenicsfags for years, decided to bite the bullet and start building a home gym now. Got some dumbbells and a bench last January, been making significant gains since. It's particularly nice since I lost most gains in 2021, about 15lbs, but now gained back about 20lbs total, mostly muscle. Been taking ashwaghanda, tongkat ali, Vit D, C, zinc and magnesium on a cycle; usually 2 weeks on 1 week off, might switch this up more though. The ashwaghanda and tongkat ali do indeed work, at least I've noticed a difference, if any anon is on the fence about them.
>>323 >ashwaghanda and tongkat ali I've only ever heard Jay Dyer talk about this stuff, I don't even know what it is lol.
>>263 I'm a nearly-lifelong fatass so I don't remember a time where my metabolism kicked enough ass to cover for it. I'm mid 30s now and this the first time I've fallen down so hard after "making it". Been cutting on humble pie. I think I'm just going to calorie count for the rest of my life regardless of my activity, got way too cocky about my fitness letting me eat whatever I wanted. The good news is I'm back to an hour of rowing per session (4 hours a week), albeit at half the resistance. My shirts feel looser too, but I'm still not getting on the scale. Maybe in another month or two. Jelly of your bike trails. I can bike here but I'm way too skittish of cars when I'm on one so I abstain.
I have some barbells I've been doing basic lifting with, but since I'm moving soon I haven't committed to a gym membership. Also have a lot of alcohol to burn through before the move so that kind of makes it pointless. The two seem to balance each other out though.

Drugs Anonymous 03/25/2023 (Sat) 15:02:11 No.320 [Reply]
Do you do them, /late/? What's your experiences?
>>320 I've always stayed away from them. Mushrooms would be the only one I could ever really see myself trying.
May experiment with psychedelics if my therapeutic course of SSRIs and hard work doesn't sort out my anxiety disorder.
>>320 The problem with psychedelics isn't he drugs themselves. It's that I need a calm place to do them or else I know I'll have a bad trip and my house is never calm. One day I want to work my way up from shrooms to lsd to dmt but it's going to be a while. I need to move innawoods first probably.
I was into heroin and opiates in general. I stopped it a while but I have to say it's the better drug that ever existed (not on a regular basis tho). But I'm happy to have quitting it. I used to smoke pot daily but happy to have stopped it to. I smoke from time to time with some fellas but it's pretty uncomon. Last drug I took was some LSD this summer while camping in the mountains. Man as I was laying down on the ground next to the campfire, as everyone was go to bed I was tripping on the stary sky. The stars danced and danced and danced and I was seeing some sort of lasers moving everywhere in between. Overall, i'm not a lot into drugs now but I always appreciate a nice trip.

Coffee Anonymous 02/04/2023 (Sat) 23:36:01 No.9 [Reply]
What is more core to the /late/ experience than coffee? How you like yours? What brands? Cream? Sugar? Or, like me, do you take yours black as the night?
4 posts omitted.
My own mix from columbian in an authentic cowboy percolator, heavy whipping cream, brown suger. Simple as, and delish.
>>13 Really basic things : green tea, mint (moroccan recipe) and random plants depending on the season. Currently red poppy and salvia.
I'm partial to iced coffee.
>>13 I've never had either of those. I love flavored teas. The Celestial Seasonings fruit flavors are all really good. I think blueberry is my favorite. Tazo teas are crazy strong. I've tried lotus tea. It didn't taste like much, but I'll have to try it again.
I typically drink coffee black, but I do like a cold coffee with white chocolate raspberry creamer in it on hot summer days. >brands Copper Moon and Green Mountain. The "Stargazer" blend by Copper Moon is my go-to, along with the Nantucket blend by Green Mountain. Both very nice and smooth with lovely aromas. These are both medium roasts if I'm not mistaken, but they do have lighter and darker roasts for anons more accustomed to those tastes.

Night walks and nature adventures Anonymous 02/20/2023 (Mon) 02:02:42 No.134 [Reply]
The anons talking about their times in the Mississippi banks was pretty comfy. I'd never heard of the driftless area before, but it sounds mythical. I'd like to start a thread like that here. You're welcome to post your stories and adventures on walks in the city or out and about in nature, I'd love to read them.

>>305 cool, do they smell nice?
>>306 As the air is still cold not really but as soon as the sun starts to warm the, the air is filled by their delicate smell. Spring is coming ! ( ^∇^)
I'll probably go for more late bike rides once it warms up and the weather clears up. I love exploring at night when most people are asleep and you're left with mostly quiet, just occasional breezes, a few nocturnal people, and some crazy homeless depending on the city.
>>306 Tonight is way more warm (at least for now) and I can smell their perfume all around the night. I'm crying.
>>311 cool, i don't think i ever smelled them, there are some flowering trees around here that smell really good in spring, it's still early for them though.
