Night walks and nature adventures Anonymous 02/20/2023 (Mon) 02:02:42 No.134 [Reply] [Last]
The anons talking about their times in the Mississippi banks was pretty comfy. I'd never heard of the driftless area before, but it sounds mythical. I'd like to start a thread like that here. You're welcome to post your stories and adventures on walks in the city or out and about in nature, I'd love to read them.

>>605 >>681 I'd shit my pants if I ever came across one of those things. I get freaked out enough by June bugs.
>>134 havnt left my house in 6 months, i used to do night walks a few yrs back but lost the habit
>>134 One nightwalk I did last winter was surreal for me. Light snow on the ground, but could see the area around me for miles in the middle of night without any lights.
do you guys keep any protection on you while you walk? conceal carry anything? i would love to night walk again but i live in a pretty shitty area with lots of shady homeless, so its safer to drive.
>>1130 Usually when I was living in the city I used to carry a big knife or a brass knuckles. But most of all I used some common sense for not going on shitty places. Now I'm in the country so it's way more secure, but anyway I still carry a knife because I always carried knife till my younger ages when going outside. Maybe you should drive to a more secure place then enjoy your nigjht walks outside your unsecure neighbourhood.

Winter is coming Anonymous 09/17/2023 (Sun) 01:56:31 No.1102 [Reply]
Winter is coming for the north hemisphere bros. Are you excited? Is winter bad where you live?

>>1102 I hope that we get a real winter this year where I am. It's been half a decade since we got a really consistent one. I really love winter because it gets so much quieter without all the industrial noise of normals mowing their lawns or riding their adult toys. Maybe one day I'll move somewhere like Vermont or Minnesota and have a proper winter every year.
>>1102 i love winter but i hate ice a big heating bills. overall its my second favorite season to autum
>>1102 It's been long time we don't have a real winter there. I like winter a lot.
>>1102 with my schedule, winter is usually a more peaceful season for me, even if the weather itself is schizo. I like winter. You can always put on more layers, but you can only take off so much.
I like Christmastime, the look of freshly fallen snow, and listening to certain kinds of music (black metal and dark New Wave/post-punk bands). That's mainly it though. It feels pretty gloomy to me otherwise, and I'm not the least bit cut out for the cold. Sunny winter days can be beautiful, but with the way the weather is at that time of the year there's still no way I'm going outside if I can help it.

Animals you hate Anonymous 05/24/2023 (Wed) 03:41:42 No.553 [Reply]
What animals do you absolutely detest? That you wish were exterminated? For me its dolphins.

Post your favorite soft drinks late! Anonymous 09/16/2023 (Sat) 01:08:36 No.1097 [Reply]
I'm partial to inca kola myself. My girlfriend got me some for my birthday one year and it's been a staple since. There's nothing else quite like it. Iron Bru has a much stronger and less refreshing taste.
maine root ginger beer or fever tree tonic water. first found the ginger beer in vermont maybe 10 years ago. now it's mostly a night time drink when browsing forums, tinkering with the computer, or late night drives.

Torrenting 09/12/2023 (Tue) 00:09:33 No.1086 [Reply]
Let's talk about torrenting and such. I want to start with a question. What's your preferred torrent client and why? On my end I use QbitTorrent cause i don't know any better.
>>1086 I used to use μTorrent years ago but stopped after it started to get a reputation for being a bit sketchy. Deluge is now my main torrent client, although I'm not even sure why I began using it in the first place. Back when I was using Windows, I sometimes had problems with Deluge not working and would also use Vuze. I know there was a point where I used qBittorrent too and am not sure why I stopped. I haven't had any problems with Deluge in Linux so far other than trying to load a massive torrent once that it couldn't seem to handle. In that one instance, I used Transmission instead just because I already had it installed.
Open file (133.13 KB 676x494 sha.png)
Transmission has a windows client now so there's no reason to use anything else if you're on bloatware It's been a while but I think I used rtorrent for CLI torrenting and think I would again. Transmission is still preferable to whatever that other gui linux one is from what I recall, it's good. >qbittorrent Cringe. The benign explanation would be that he's a glownigger but most likely the maintainer is just some soyfreak asshole. He's intentionally broken the UI because he doesn't like people having control over the software they use and the result is just that the same people defacto don't seed but they show up as peers and anyone using his product can't trust their own settings in a program that's barely par with fucking utorrent at the best of times. I've used halite in the past. It's charmingly shitty, the way amateur projects often are.
qBittorent user to, because I try it maybe... 20 years ago and was satisfied by it. I used Transmission a bit because it was packaged in my Linux distro. >>1088 Care to elaborate on why qBittorrent sucks ?
Been using qBittorent for ages and it does everything I need it to, got no reason to use anything else.

Coffee Anonymous 02/04/2023 (Sat) 23:36:01 No.9 [Reply]
What is more core to the /late/ experience than coffee? How you like yours? What brands? Cream? Sugar? Or, like me, do you take yours black as the night?

We are approaching pumpkin spice season. Will you be partaking?
>>751 Funny how work does that to you, I used to drink coffee that was a third milk. Now I'll settle for black burnt break room sludge. Happy Monday
>886 I've never had pumpkin spice coffee before, I might actually try it this year. Normally, I just drink pitch-black, cheap, drip brewed coffee. Weirdly enough, I prefer the flavor if it's become burnt/stale.
>>9 Gotta have milk, lowfat preferrably. if I'm in a hurry, I use a kettle and an aeropress, and if I'm not, I use a siphon or moka pot. >>638 Good-shit coffee has always been more expensive than the cheap stuff. Most stuff in the supermarket is pretty much brazillian-grown arabica beans. Hell, I remember some coffee people who would pay the same price that most people pay for good bottles of alcohol.
>>1041 Tired it, I don't understand the hype about it. It tastes just ok and all of the sugar in it gives me a stomach ache.

I can only watch gay porn at night because I feel ashamed to watch in the light... >I'm completely straight during the day >At night I go completely gay >Get horny for twinks and sissies >I ended up seducing an Asian twink in Belfast >Took his boyish virginity (He's 19 so legal) >But in the morning I feel so ashamed Why am I super straight in the light but gay in the night?!! WTF why is the night making me gay??

>I'm completely straight in the day >But at night I go completely gay >Get horny for twinks and a sissy >Bang a trap down in old Mississipi >But in the morning I feel so ashamed >Eighty percent of my ass now has AIDS Do better OP
>>899 I've been doing the Angion Method and managed to stay away from porn for a week earlier in the month, and now my sex drive has been through the roof since then. I haven't been able to stop jacking off to even gayer stuff than OP. I noticed earlier that there was a little damp spot on my pants that was wet from precum soaking through my underwear.
suck a cock during the day and let us know how it goes!
