Russia vs Ukraine 24 - This is What Happens When I Have to Make the Thread - EDITION Strelok 02/20/2023 (Mon) 09:22:52 No.47995
Emergency thread since the previous one was auto locked. I've not been paying attention to the war for the past couple of months so I really don't know what to put here. Someone with more info is going to have to fill us in starting with the second post. One bit of news I heard today was the Biden administration plus Graham threatening China not to supply weapons to Russia. https://archive.is/p4CvP I also wanted a new thread so we could talk about what a post anti satellite warfare world would/will look like. Both in it's effects on civilian life and also how wars will be fought after all the eyes in the sky are put out.

>>48004 >do they seriously not know basic trig > pic-related My guess is they vaguely picked up on the le ebin maymay some time ago, and it's now been ingrained in their feeble minds that's what all the cool kids do today? In other news The filthy jew rat apparently want to pull out of Bahkmut now that everyone's dead.

Did Anons forget VOR navigation still exists or did ナット as well? Last time I checked current GA planes equipped with G6000000 touchscreen glowpits still support it, and ILS werks independently from any satnav.
1000/250 replies/images is a good place to autolock. some anon bitched about y'all, but it's actually a second-person plural, which is otherwise missing from English. Also, the latest bit about Wagner shells is that it's misdirection for what they've got planned, which is intriguing. I'll quote the post: >Military Summary has an interesting view on Russian strategy. He thinks RF MoD has decided to redeploy Wagner across a broad front. Russian army in Ugledar proved incapable of storming towns like Wagner so instead of having 40k Wagner around Bakhmut they intend to use them in small brigades, supported by the regular army, to capture many towns in a big offensive. Bakhmut will be left to starve into surrender once the supply lines are cut. He says Prigozhin's gripe about lack of shells is PR to cover their "failure" to take the town in the future. >If true this change could see the start of fast moving warfare with big gains or it could dissipate a military asset which only works when concentrated against a single objective. It's difficult to predict which one might happen but Military Summary thinks it will erode Prigozhin's power base. Maybe that's the point.

Some footage, all sourced from Russian telegram. Music warning for those who don't like it.
>>48008 But GPS destruction will mean far, far more infrastructure destruction than simple loss of navigation. And, since these many systems will all fail at the same time, the combined effect will be catastrophic. Billions will die during DOTR, Strelok.
>>48009 >some anon bitched about y'all, but it's actually a second-person plural, which is otherwise missing from English. I did, because it's a) pure-niggerism 1st, 2nd, and 3rd """person""", and b) libshits and troons have adopted it in sympathy. 'You all' is perfectly-acceptable English Strelok.
>>48011 This. They clearly knew it would happen, some Streloks claimed it was to prop the old coot up. What's their game in reality though?
>>48014 Thanks Strelok, don't know why but watching that column pass was soothing somehow.
Seems tomorrow will be a big day >>48009 Using elite troops for the initial assault and then keep the momentum with conscripts could work well, Wagner would be the modern Stormtroopers. Think about it in the context of the likely to soon come new Russian offensives. >erode Prigozhin's power base. Though that's always a possibility, yes
I suppose Brandon showing up is an "escalation" though Lloyd Austin showing up to Ukraine was already the USA essentially marking Ukraine as its newest plaything. Still a good slap in the face, at least on the public stage, not that Russia would openly kill Biden so it was a relatively safe visit.

With regards to the fortifications that the Russians are building up in the east, are they just being cautious or might they form part of a plan for a big elastic defence in which the Russians fall back to those lines before bouncing back?
>>48038 Can it not be both?
>>48038 Both sides have devolved to WW1 tactics. Namely a heavily fortified front line with multiple rear lines some miles back. The idea being if the front line becomes compromised in some part, the rear holds off the attackers then counterattacks to regain the lost land. Worst case the rear line becomes the front line and you heavily fortify and start over. This whole shit should have been left to history. The whole reason the Germans started trench warfare in the first place was to briefly stop a massive counterattack by the British and French forces. Sure it worked at the time, but the Germans failed to stop fortifying, waiting for some chance that failed to appear once the other side started digging their own trenches. Whoever gains the initiative again will have the advantage to win the war or at least tilt it entirely to their side.
Yet another boring ass speech
>>48050 The only thing of note is that Russia suspended its participation in Strategic Offensive Arms Treaty ,or START.
Apparently Biden is supposed make a speech tonight as an adress to Russian people. What the fuck does he hope to accomplish?
>>48045 Might the Russians be aiming to tilt it by committing the blueballed Mobiks? >>48042 It could be. I meant by question in the sense of "Do they plan to actually need them?".
>>48052 >What the fuck does he hope to accomplish? God who knows. At this point I'm half expecting him to call for the Russian people to rise up against Putin or something catastrophically stupid like that.
>>48045 What people seem to forget is that it devolved to trench warfare only where and when giving up ground was simply not an option. Namely, in France the Germans were so close to Paris that even the taxi drivers of the city participated in ferrying troops to the front, so retreating any further would have been suicidal for them. And there aren't significant enough natural barriers between France and Germany that would have made it that much easier for the Germans to defend their lines if they retreat. Their logistics were also in order on that front, so making them just a bit shorter wouldn't have helped either. So with a retreat they would have gained nothing, except a hit to their morale because everyone would have taken that as a a sign of weakness. Of course, we can still question the wisdom of direct assault instead of both sides entrenching even more and trying to change the situation at an other front. An other similar case was the Italian front, where the the ground was so hard to navigate that Tirolean weekend clubs could defend it pretty effectively at the beginning, and if the Eyetalians retreated we would have followed them right down to the valley of the Po, making their situation significantly worse, so they had no other choice but hugging the Alps. But just like in the previous case, both sides could have kept defending and pushing elsewhere. And for a third example there is the whole Gallipoli debacle, although in that case the Brits eventually realized that it's futile and did retreat. Now contrast these with the Eastern Front and the Balkans: neither the Central Powers nor Russians cared that much about owning more or less Polish towns and villages, so they were quite happy to retreat to more defensible positions if an enemy attack was going to well, trading ground in exchange of the other side's offensive losing steam. and this lead to some rather fluid lines with lots of maneuvering everywhere. In the Balkans the best example is Serbia: they simply didn't have the means to resist the Central Powers (although Potiorek still did his best to increase their K:D ratio, the damned idiotic bastard), so their army had to retreat outside the country, even though they kept fighting. In the case of Ukraine both sides have the men and matériel to keep their lines intact (for the time being), and due to the wonders of modern communications even the smallest of retreats is treated as a gigantic disaster. Yet, Russians did retreat when trading ground was better than fighting, they retreated from Kyeeev, they retreated from Kherson, and they retreated from Kharkiv. They just didn't gain anything significant from all of that, other than the forces to strengthen the remaining fronts, but the whole world mocks them for it. And remember: their grand goal is to break Ukraine, even if the details of this are constantly changing. And at this point they can't break it simply by squatting on the land they already conquered, so they need to attack if they want to accomplish anything.
The PMC has lost the political confrontation with the Ru MoD and is now cut off from the supply of men and ammunition
>>48058 Putin commented that "dogs are dogs, but let the ones with teeth bite at something" basically that Wagner is in the wrong but he will look into it. Prigozhin's response was to call out Gerasimov and Shoigu by name accusing them of being the ones denying him ammunition.
>>48060 source?
>>48058 >>48060 I've read some rumors that it's fake, it's to feign weakness and disunity before the big offensive. I don't really know what to believe
>>48062 On that note, I have to wonder how much more we have to wait until both sides create fake messages with that voice ”AI”.
>>48036 >the USA downright owns the EU Both the USSA and EUSSR are owned by the (((central bankers))) what is your point?
>>48050 >ass speech >>48051 TL;DR? or is that ;DL?
>>48053 >committing the blueballed Mobiks Conscripts can't be deployed outside of Russian territory (unless this was changed recently) and probably the main reasons Russia bumrushed the annexations through their legislature. I guess they could use conscripts to push back the current set of front lines but not much further than that. I don't see them trying to annex anything beyond the border regions, and maybe Odessa.
im curious as to whether Russia intends to take all of Ukraine or just half of it
>>48079 At this point I'm quite confident that they have no idea what they want exactly, other than the vague goal of keeping NATO as far away from themselves as possible.
>>48063 >create fake messages with that voice ”AI” I'm surprised it hasn't been more prevalent, I don't recall any major instances of this yet in the political arena. >>48079 Probably not even half, just a buffer zone comprising of the border regions. The fact that there's now a permanent territorial dispute effectively preempting Ukraine from joining NATO is a bonus.
>>48081 They probably have a good idea of what they want, but why be open about it? now it doesn't make sense as there's little chance of negotiations in the short term
>>48076 >TL;DR? That's pretty much it. Russia pulled out of START, and said it will resume its nuclear testing should USA do it first.
I remember streloks in a past bread asserting that Ukraine will run out of warm bodies to maintain basic guard duty at its entire border within six months at the current rate of attrition unless NATO gets desperate enough to provide direct military assistance before that happens. Is this still a reasonable assumption or will political shitflinging between the RuMoD-RuAF-Wagner drag the war out to the point UAF trenches will be occupied by Boston dynamics robots in Hohol colors because Russians are still arguing on who's gonna get the supply allotments for an offensive?

I'll say it again: Putin has the gravitas of a statesman, something which Biden partially lacks, and Zelensky lacks entirely. The gay jewish comedian may be a good actor, but his role as a puppet is unmistakable. This comes out even more when they interact with other world leaders -- Putin is a man among equals, while Zelensky is obviously beta. first, Putin: “We did everything possible to solve the problem by peaceful means. We were patiently negotiating, but a completely different scenario was being prepared behind our backs.” “The countries of the West were stalling for time, were engaged in chicanery, encouraged neo-Nazis to commit terrorist actions in Donbass. “In today’s world there shouldn’t be a division into civilized countries and everyone else. We were open to dialogue with the West. But in response we received an inarticulate or hypocritical reaction. “But there were also concrete measures – the deployment of NATO contingents around Russia’s borders. The U.S. has hundreds of bases around the world. <…> “I want to emphasize – they were the ones who started the war, and we used force and will use force to stop it.” “Those who planned the new attack on the Donbass clearly understood that the next target was a strike on Crimea and Sevastopol.” “We are defending people’s lives, our own home. And the West has spent over $150 billion in pandering to the Kiev regime. And the poorest countries were allocated $60 billion for 2022. <…> “We are not at war with the people of Ukraine, they have become hostages of their Western masters. For decades they have been destroying Ukrainian industry. Under such conditions it is easy to draw material for military operations. People have been turned into expendable supplies.” “Responsibility lies entirely with the Western elites and the Kiev regime. “The more long-range Western systems come in, the further we will be forced to push the threat away from our borders.” “The goal of the West is to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. To finish us off. That’s exactly how we understand it all. It’s about the existence of our country. But they cannot fail to understand that it is impossible to defeat Russia on the battlefield, so they launch information attacks. They are targeting the younger generation. “Look at what they are doing in the West. Pedophilia is becoming the norm, priests are approving same-sex marriages. “Adults have the right to live as they wish. No one invades privacy, and we’re not going to do that. But look at the books of the world’s religions – it says it all. Including that the family is the union of a man and a woman. But the sacred texts are also being questioned.” “The elites are going mad, and there is, as they say, no cure. “We have begun a program to develop new regions. This includes the revival of jobs, ports on the Sea of Azov, building roads, as we did in Crimea.” “The West has launched an economic front against us. But it has not achieved anything and will not achieve anything. The initiators of the sanctions punish themselves: they provoked a rise in prices, loss of jobs. And they tell their citizens that the Russians are to blame.” “Anti-Russian sanctions are only a means. And the goal is to “make our citizens suffer” – this is a quotation. Such humanists.” “But the Russian economy turned out to be stronger than they believed in the West. We ensured the stability of the economic situation. We prevented a deficit, supported entrepreneurs and the financial system. “We need to eliminate all interdepartmental contradictions, all this nonsense. Everything is for the goal! Everything for the result! Everything must be aimed at this. <…>” At the beginning of February there was a statement from NATO demanding Russia to return to compliance with strategic arms treaties, allowing inspections of our military facilities. <…> In modern conditions of today’s confrontation it sounds like some nonsense. In our turn, we are not allowed to conduct inspections. Every time they create some bureaucratic obstacles” “The situation after 1945 has changed. But it is unacceptable for the U.S. to reshape the world order in its own selfish interests. And now they are issuing ultimatums.” “Under these circumstances, I am forced to say that Russia is suspending its participation in the START treaty. I repeat: it is not withdrawing from the treaty, it is suspending it. and a summary for Biden: >Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has become a test for the United States and European countries. But “a coalition of 50 countries has been created,” and it will support Ukraine until its victory; > NATO has preserved its unity; >Putin allegedly thought that he was stronger than ever, but he was faced with the iron will of all countries, whose struggle was headed by Zelensky; >If Russia attacks at least one NATO country, it will be regarded as an attack on the entire bloc. We will defend every inch of NATO territory. >We must be honest. The protection of freedom is a very long process and Ukraine continues to fight for it. This may take a long time and there may be many more losses; >sanctions pressure will continue, as the West cannot allow Russia to gain the upper hand.

Kharkov, Odessa, and a link to Transnistria are important objectives. They don't actually show the document, apparently to protect the whistleblower's identity. Poland to deliver 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Kyiv in next few weeks, foreign ministry says https://archive.ph/UrfnR >Poland will deliver 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine in the “next two or three weeks” once the training of the Ukrainian troops is complete, the country’s foreign ministry said Tuesday. >Łukasz Jasina, spokesperson for Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said Warsaw supported sending fighter jets to Kyiv but there was still some way to go in achieving a consensus among NATO countries. >“Exactly like it was with the tanks, we hope that this coalition will be big enough to support Ukrainians more and more. Jets are very useful in Ukrainian war,” Jasina said. “Still, I’m an optimist,” he added. >“But we are a member of NATO, and we want to reach agreement in all such issues to participate in this together because the alliance is stronger when we are together,” he said. Also, this says that pic related is now going to the front: https://archive.ph/AXVhu
>>48088 no Russia has continued to be very effective at grinding down Ukrainian forces. I remember seeing that the average age of the fighting Ukrainian male is now like 40 which means they are on thin ice in terms of numbers. I think Bakmut is supposed to be the big determiner as to whether Ukraine's army will remain valid in any capacity or not. Biden seems to be kicking around the idea of sending straight up US troops to be """""medics"""""" which idk how that isnt a declaration of war and direct engagement but whatever, the US doesnt think about rules anymore they just do things at the behest of Satan I guess
>>48113 >Biden seems to be kicking around the idea of sending straight up US troops to be """""medics"""""" Jesus christ the lord why is biden such a psychopath. What is this demented grandad thinking?

>>48113 >I think Bakmut is supposed to be the big determiner as to whether Ukraine's army will remain valid in any capacity or not Does it matter anymore? Clearly the hohols will keep fighting until they have no choice but to send women and toddlers to the front, their economy is gone and will make them dependent on handouts for at least a decade, their families are torn and I have to believe they realize how their own lives don't matter anymore. They may as well keep fighting and hope for the millions of refurbished panzer II's the Kraut's are gonna send
>>48118 I mean, they are forced to keep fighting by their jew leader who cares not for them. Their choices are surrender and simply live under Russian rule which will probably be annoying but ultimately not that big of a deal, or be effectively genocided because they wouldnt stop beating their heads against a brick wall. Its really a sad state of affairs, they gave it a good try but I really dont like to see anyone else get killed at this point because the conclusion is already spelled out
>>48115 Pooland operates Leo 2A5 and 2A6, these are up to par even if purchased from used stock (and a vast improvement over other hardware types currently used). I don't know what these retards are thinking, they are giving their most effective armor for free while not even close to replacing the obsolete typed. Also, seeing retards harboring hopes about poland making any territorial demands towards USraine is making me cry. The polish government would rather castrate themselves publicly than even think about this; besides, the public support for this would be lower than 10%.
>>48069 That they're not competing, EU is under the direct influence of the USA just like Canada, Japan and Australia.
>>48119 It is a lose-lose situation for the regular ukie. They are pawns in Zelensky and his owner's game, I'm not saying they should raise a white flag and run to kiss Putin's arse but being a POW and stopping their land from becoming the Balkans 2.0 is much better than death. >>48121 >USraine lmao
I think this war is even more proof that people will fight for their countries even if from a 3rd person perspective it would be better for their country to be conquered by someone else. Ukraine is a trash NATO dog with a jewish leader. Even under Russian boots it would be better off, and yet ukrainians keep fighting. Some soldiers even see themselves being guided by God, despite their government being anti-religion and even anti-white. I think this is a really interesting phenomenon and we could have lots of discussions about it, at a later date. But ultimately I believe we'll land at the same old conclusion: the masses are fucking retarded and don't know anything about anything.
>>48126 >I think this is a really interesting phenomenon Not really, the unfortunate reality is that TV programming and propaganda does indeed work for the majority of people. This has been discussed to death
>>48126 >Some soldiers even see themselves being guided by God That isn't unique to Ukraine nor is it unique to desperate troops, if a country has a sizeable religious population you're going to have plenty of those.
Is there anything to suggest the Russians have put together a task force for the sole purpose of capturing enemy equipment for intelligence purposes? Is there anything to suggest the West has a similar outfit for capturing Russian equipment?
>>48132 Outside getting shit from the field I doubt it, most equipment is either old, well documented or both. With many being fielded by both sides. Exceptions are maybe the T14 Armata and the BMPT-72 which are rarely fielded.

>>48127 >>48144 Many people are naturally NPCs. In fact, it's a survival strategy, they instinctively want to cooperate with their "tribe", and mass media/social media plays on this with its psycho-social conditioning. They believe in the fake version of the war and get brainwashed so they can feel like they're "good and loyal". Hell I've seen NPC's try to justify Ukraine cutting off water to Crimea, which was an actual war crime. In a better society, herd instincts would be directed the right way, instead of the wrong way under ZOG. >>48166 I almost gave them credit for the Dune reference, until I remembered that the movie came out recently. So it's all just mindless consoomerist cringe and self-parody. >>48156 >Leopard 2A4s which were demonstrated to be a steaming pile of expensive garbage by the towel heads. to be fair, iirc they were deployed incorrectly without proper infantry support, and in other roles than the intended spearhead. So while they're not wonder waffen, they're not necessarily trash either.
>>48169 It's part of our primitive simian wiring, fitting in with the majority means you'll live comfortably and a better chance at survival. Objective truths and/or morality does not matter, this has happened for as long as the human race was aware, the only things that have changed have been how the message is transmitted and how the head of government makes you feel good about it. What's fucking infuriating is that many of the people in academia and independent groups, who promote the study of this and "self awareness" and "free thinking" fall exactly for this shit while watching TV programming. >>48156 Nigger, saying the Leopard 2 is trash is like stating the M1Abrams is trash.
>>48168 fucking kek >>48169 >>48170 Academia has been dead around the world since the turn of the century, and to be completely fair they are free to say outright that they support Ukraine if they wish so. What shows they are not free-thinkers is a none are willing to accept that this war, much like Iraq or the Falklands, is completely unnecesary and benefits no one but the ruling elites. Whether that is the consequence is TV programming or outright dishonesty is anyone's guess
>>48171 Ah bro, it'a simpler than that. Most people, even non-normalfags, are going "I don't care, if I don't get involved and say the thing life goes on so until the bullets are flying over my head it's not my problem." The inertia of humanity is so intense that most people can be driving towards a certain death cliff and they won't give a shit until the ground starts rumbling because they've gone off-road the last few meters. Then the next 2-8 generations don't even fucking move out of fear of going off the cliff which is the greater tragedy.
>>48169 >shoop muh sides
>>48170 >saying the Leopard 2 is trash is like stating the M1Abrams is trash Maybe they're both trash. This is the first time the Leopard will be used in the war it was designed for so we'll find out how good it is. As for the Abrams, the US wants to use it for zionist wars only. It will never be sent into combat in Ukraine so we'll never see how it fairs against a determined enemy with modern weapons.
>>48174 >for zionist wars only >zionist wars only >zionist wars >zionist
>>48169 >I almost gave them credit for the Dune reference, until I remembered that the movie came out recently. Dune is the Harry Potter equivalent in the science-fiction genre anyway. It is not necessarily bad, just massively overrated and overpopularized.

Berlin: Russian tank destroyed by Ukrainian forces near Kyiv installed in front of Russian Embassy https://novayagazeta.eu/articles/2023/02/24/berlin-russian-tank-destroyed-by-ukrainian-forces-near-kyiv-installed-in-front-of-russian-embassy-en-news >Employees of the Berlin Story Bunker museum and German activists Enno Lenze and Wieland Giebel have installed a Russian tank destroyed by Ukrainian forces near Kyiv during the first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in front of the Russian Embassy building in Berlin, a Novaya-Europe correspondent reports. >“War criminals are sitting in that embassy. Not one person from the embassy has come out against the war in Ukraine. <…> I always ask myself what I can do, and it’s not much. But to put this utilised tank in front of the Russians’ door as a sign of protest is something. Glory to Ukraine,” Wieland Giebel said. >The damaged Russian tank T-72, the 1985 model, which is used in the installation, hit an anti-tank mine during the battle for Kyiv near the village Dmytrivka, not far away from Bucha, in the first days of the war. The tank will remain in front of the embassy for the next several days. >The tank was actively used in combat and it has bullet holes from different weapons, a statement published on the museum website states. According to it, the 37th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade from the Russian city of Ulan-Ude, Buryatia, could have participated in the fighting near Dmytrivka. Russian forces from Buryatia lost half of its personnel and equipment in a short time in the war in Ukraine. >“We want to give the terrorists their trash back. They killed, robbed, and made millions of Ukrainians flee [their own country] and continue doing so daily,” the organisers previously said. >In autumn 2022, a Berlin court allowed activists to install a Russian tank destroyed in Ukraine near the Russian Embassy. The court ruled that such an installation is considered an expression of opinion protected by free speech. After the ruling, the tank was transported to Berlin with the help of the National Museum of the Military History of Ukraine. >In June 2022, the activists appealed to the administration of the Berlin district Mitte, asking to be allowed to install the tank in front of the embassy for two weeks. The city authorities denied their request, saying that demonstration of the destroyed vehicle would be “inappropriate”, seeing as people were, most likely, killed inside of it.

There will probably a mass shooting or some darky will get kneeled on or something to distract people. Election season is coming up so it may be that. The war being lost would be a great presidential question but honestly our media is very good at literally just ignoring things. See Ohio rn
>>48206 >>48205 I mean honestly these make sense. Westoid media and inteligence agencies have been making a good work at brainwashing the braindamaged masses. It's still really funny how the westoid pro-glowie tards absolutly ignored the twitter files and or didn't understand them because of their low intelect or something. But I'm going offtopic.

>>48193 >The problem with your statement, is that if the burgers won't do it, and the next eligible candidates can't, then I got to ask: Who? Nobody. That is the glory of (threat of) war making peace. >>48204 They will try to cover it up but the collapsing petrodollar will cause the dollar to hyperinflate at a level that makes Weimar look stable. You're looking at a 4 quadrillion or 20 quadrillion dollar debt that is going to be hoisted onto the USA in the aftermath either by the IMF or China, and the guys who "win" (China/Russia) are going to do everything to make Americans pay for it. America is hedging their bets on a global economic collapse where they can use the purchasing power of the petrodollar to collapse their enemies, while China is hedging their bets on Imperial expansion while keeping America/Europe locked up as debt slaves. Russia seems to be hedging their bets on shoring up their domestic economy and riding the wave regardless of who succeeds or doesn't.

I'm sympathetic only to the Slavs of both sides who are forced into this kike pissing contest (Putin is a KGB mischling, and we know Zelensky is a full kike). >>48203 Decent troll to be honest, more interesting than when Russia renamed some streets around the UK embassy in Moscow
>>48213 this, idk who they are trying to fool when they write articles about how Afghanistan is in shambles because they wont let women work
>>48204 It depends on how the war actually ends. If Russia takes over all of Ukraine, then the west will continue to use limp wristed threats and sanctions against Russia while claiming to support the "poor oppressed Ukrainians" for a couple months before moving on to the next scare/psyop. But the most likely scenario is that Russia will only take a chunk of Ukraine, in which case the west will feebly claim to have won the war and that it was the brave oppressed Ukrainians fought back valiantly against the evil Russians, a narrative they will insist on for years on end, even though Ukraine is left an even bigger decrepit shithole and Russia accomplishes all of its objectives. Keep in mind the west is knee-deep into post-truth: it doesn't matter what actually happens, the government and big corpo will just twist it to make it seem like everything is going in their favor. After all, in a world of complete subjectivity, when the common folk are treated as enemies and not subjects, who cares about truth?
>>48211 Fool. Don't say these things so casually. If you value yourself, do not wish these things even on someone you hate. Even if it's RF, even if it's Ukraine. I don't know if you hate your own government, but they give your people many things, I wouldn't hate them either, let alone use these words. The only thing that comes from destruction is more destruction. Here is a practical example. Suppose one side falls too quickly in a fight like this - whether NATO/US or RF. Call it luck, fate or whatever you wish. Then the winning side has a precedent - by spending a certain amount of resources - including human lives - conquest is possible. And fueled by fear of retaliation, a winning side might reach for using it to secure it's own existence. Then the world will be ruled by this kind of fear once more. Human rights violations? Geneva conventions? Personal safety regulations? Worldwide set of standards? If your government does not approve, none of this applies. This and much more. This has been a tangent, but please do not actually say this.

>>48218 You fucking nigger the American government can't even follow its own constitution why am I supposed to trust them with international law when even Israel and Saudi Arabia have a better track record there? China wants to have all of Asia pay homage to them as it were for 2000 years and Russia wants to return to their status as a European power to economically bully central Europe but neither has any plans of grandeur to fuck with the international community. The Middle East/North Africa needs about 30-50 years of internal war to work their shit out and South America needs to stop trying to be Europe, but just like how replacing rule of law with rules-based law didn't end murder, big countries killing each other instead abiding by the rules set by the victor is not going to shatter some theoretical world peace that stopped existing 20-30 years ago.
>>48221 >America made "might makes right" the norm after what they did to the Serbs all on their own. Pic related is a Facebook post that contains snippets from an interview with some Romanian secret service officer. To make it even shorter, Wagner wanted to fly in some of its Serbian members to the capital of Moldova for a good old coup d'état, and they wanted to fly through Hungary for this operation. So Orbán told this to all the generals and ordered them to make plans to help them, and many of them objected. He didn't care, so a few of them told this plan to the British who relayed it to the Moldovans, so the whole operation was dead, and several Wagnerites were caught. And this is why they sent 110 Hungarian officers to early retirement. No, this isn't some extremely reliable source, but it makes sense overall.
Prigozhin reportedly stated that the Polish Leopards are being deployed to Chasiv Yar. From there they may be used to defend Krasne or be sent northeast to counter attack Wagner around Berkhiva reservoir. There is a fair chance of hothead hohols trying to win the war in one day with their new wunderwaffen. RuAF would presumably try to tempt them forward into prepared traps. My guess is they will attack Wagner's flank west of Krasne. This bounty the RuMoD has on western MBT could be a great motivator or it could cause drunken vatniks to abandon relatively sensible battle plans in order to hunt tanks. The propaganda value of destroyed or captured Leopard is huge so these tanks may be more effective as a distraction than as assault weapons. Certainly the AFU needs to wait for their delivery in significant numbers before trying anything dramatic. The British learned this in 1916, Guderian recorded the lesson and Hitler learned it again in 1943. This could turn out to be a battle of stupidity. >>48272 Big if true. I expect both sides are plotting something in Transnistria. The Russian forces there have a lot of ammo which Ukraine wants. Of course USA wants the region too. Not only is it called Transnistria but there is a town named Bender. USA could not resist adding 'Gender' to that name.
>>48272 Ahh, thanks for the clarification Strelok. I just wonder what the 'sudden demise' rate for the 120 will be over the midterm vs. their actuarials?
>>48273 >This could turn out to be a battle of stupidity. My guess is the Russian generals will send the Wagnerites and restrain their own men. Hopefully they'll have the sense to compensate their own troops nearby to the captures with other rewards.

>>48268 >pot calls kettle black >burger Typical. >>48273 >their delivery in significant numbers Is Russia trying to take out these wunderwaffens in transit? They have missiles capable of this obviously and most of this stuff can't hide in shipping containers so should be trackable from satellite. As soon as the train/truck crosses the ukrainian border it seems like fair game. Is it just lack of intel on Russia's part?
>>48278 >most of this stuff can't hide in shipping containers so should be trackable from satellite. As soon as the train/truck crosses the ukrainian border it seems like fair game Cover the tanks in tarps, and have 3/4 of the train cars be decoys that are just a cheap wooden frame covered in the same tarps. That way the tanks will survive even if the train gets hit, unless they use enough missile to hit every car. It'd cost more to quadruple the number of train trips but it's not like either NATO or Ukraine give a fuck about wasting money in this war.
>>48279 Is there any evidence/indication they are taking such measures? I recall photos & videos where the tanks, howitzers and so on were allegedly crossing the border on plain old tractor trailers, not even a tarp or camo net or anything. Even if a significant fraction are decoys it's still far more efficient for Russia to take the equipment out in transit than when it's deployed/dispersed in the field. Especially trains, a bunch of tarped over railcars will look suspicious as fuck, take out the locomotive and the rest of it are sitting ducks.
I wonder how they approved the deployment of Leopard tanks. Either they removed chunks of the composite armor or the newer models use an entirely different composition so Rheinmetall and KMW don't give a shit if the Russians capture a 2A4.

After all the puppets politicians visited Kiev a representative of the real power shows up: Janet Yellen. Despite being nominally head of the Federal Reserve she has been making increasingly aggressive comments aimed at foreign countries and giving political statements about US war aims. Basically she wants to fuck over Russia and doesn't care if that means EU economy collapses. She has not mentioned transgender clinics for the children of Moscow yet. Wagner claims to have taken Stupki in northern Bakhmut and is making another attempt to reach the southern highway they got pushed back from west of Krasne. They have also surrounded Berkhivka reservoir (but the fish refuse to surrender) and are pushing west towards some minor towns. No reported sightings of Leopards in the wild so far. Victor Orban continues to go against the flow of EU/US rhetoric and is in increasing danger of becoming a 'threat to our democracy'. I expect his pipelines will be mysteriously sabotaged soon. AFU is massing forces along other countries' borders where there are no Russians to fight (smart move, they can liberate all that territory they already hold without risk of casualties). I wonder if this is where the Leopards really are.

>>48278 >Is it just lack of intel on Russia's part? Pravda reports Leopard spotted "in Bakhmut area" citing some minor official of the DPR. They posted pic related of Leopard on exercise in Poland as proof. It could be on its way to relieve the siege of Berkhivka but this would be very ambitious. With only two tanks the best AFU could hope for is to open a canal along which the fish could retreat. AFU is massing along border with Moldova. Apparently they want the RuAF ammunition dump in Transnistria. Makes sense as it would be familiar Soviet era stuff which they can use immediately (instead of NATO weapons which the corrupt regime sells on darknet marketplace). Russian media is making a great show of some American 'defector' from Ukraine foreign legion who is claiming AFU are all "nazis". Lots of the inevitable atrocity propaganda in these articles. If AFU really were 'nazi' would they not use the chaos of war to remove their jewish president? Russia reports several failed UAV attacks, one near Moscow, and blames Ukraine. Moscow UAV was apparently aimed at a gas compressor station but fell a few hundred meters short. Russia claims their electronic warfare took down the UAVs without any damage to anything. >>48399 >a hohol insurgency which will endure being fueled by pure eternal butthurt. Why would that happen? There were three perfect examples of areas where that should have happened about 9 months ago, Enerhodar, Mariupol, Melitopol, and in all three instances, an insurrection never happened. Think the closest they got was killing a mayor in Melitopol or something. In one they worked with the Russians, in another they took their pensions/promises to buy crops at EU values and went home from their rioting, and in the third they set up humanitarian corridors and then whoever didn't get the fuck out was open season. To the point where an old engineer who worked on the original tunnels the Ukrainian militants were hiding in came out and gave the information to the Russians about all the exits/entrances in order to bring an end to the fighting. I think the local Azov sub-commander was raping his grand-niece or something. Clearly they just want jobs, vodka, and cheap housing. And probably for artillery to stop dropping at the moment.
>>48400 >There were three perfect examples of areas where that should have happened about 9 months ago Right now and over the past 9 months anyone up for a fight can get their fix at one of the many active front lines - that will come to a close at some point, one way or another - however the butthurt will endure far beyond that. Rybar has identified the UAVs used to attack Russian interior. The TU-141 looks cool and sinister whereas the rest look they were made by Cessna. Tu-141 is a literal museum piece from the cold war which Ukraine pressed back into service. According to Russia the Raytheon corp has converted them from tactical reconnaissance into cruise missiles. Rybar also notices the presence of multiple NATO command aircraft missions over the Black Sea at the time of the UAV strikes. UK even sent two Typhoons to escort their RC-135. That's the closest Typhoons will get to Ukraine during wartime. Ukraine denies involvement in the attacks and Russia doesn't believe them which is odd as it seems these attacks were carried out by NATO like Poland did the Crimea bridge attack. Maybe Ukraine's only involvement was sending Tu-141 to USA for modifications. Allegedly Ukrainian shelling in Zaporizhia and Kherson has fallen to a near-standstill (according to the Russians) and even Bakhmut shelling has lessened suggesting Ukraine may be going through an artillery famine.
Wagner claims progress into Bakhmut from the north, east and south. They're having another try for Kranse and its western approaches. This has become a mini Ugheldar for them. Better to attack east of Krasne in the direction of Khromove I would think but I'm not a commander on the ground. A run up the western edge of Bakhmut towards the Samolet would do this. Maybe Kranse assaults are just to keep AFU busy and stop them moving men into the city. Either way it is looking like Bakhmut will fall soon. Attacks can be counter-attacked and urban clearance is slow, costly work but AFU would have to drive Wagner/RuAF back several kilometers to secure their position. Whoever gets Bakhmut will inherit smoking ruins anyway. The city is a propaganda battle while everyone waits for the ground to dry out. Officially ukraine is consistently denying it. Just like they are denying the failed drone attacks mentioned above. MSM narratives flip flops between: a) these are Kremlin false-flags to distract Russians and justify escalation or b) it's a partisan group from within called Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC or RDK) apparently a Russian-staffed branch of Azov. a) reeks of typical hohol projection - preparing for the fall of Bakhmut. for b) the timing seems rather convenient. Either way gayops are afoot for sure.
>>48466 >If all they do is encircle Bakhmut at their current positions then they are playing the peanut-brain game. We cannot rule that out. The immediate objective should be Khromove to finally cut the AFU supply route. They don't even need to cross the river but just shell anything which moves on the south bank. Then Bakhmut can be left to starve into surrender. This frees up men and material to encircle Krasne and deter counter-attack. The push west to Chasiv Yar is difficult with only infantry as most cover is along the rail corridor and crossing the canal would be impossible without air support or heavy armor. Better to push north to the west of Krasne as there is a big forest to provide cover but so far Wagner cannot even consolidate a position at the highway. There will be a lot minefields to breach (not even AFU knows where they all are) so I think the front will move slowly, at least until the ground is dry enough for tanks. Maybe then we will see Leopards come out of hiding. >>48467 >was this out of the ordinary? It was pure coincidence, Strelok. >gayops are afoot for sure. Now that you mention it... Rybar is reporting "a ready-made battalion-tactical group" being shipped from US to Greece for potential deployment to Moldova. AFU want the Russian ammo in Transnistria and RuAF are mobilizing there. I expect AFU to make an incursion and this will 'prompt' the Moldovan gov to ask for NATO "peacekeepers" to protect their eastern border. Then NATO battalion shows up next morning to disrupt Russian forces so AFU completes their mission (but NATO is definitely not at war with Russia). Expect MSM to saturate coverage with RuAF "atrocities" like they did to the Serbs. Then NATO has to occupy the region for "humanitarian" reasons while all Russian forces and separatists are tried for 'war crimes'. I did some thinking, and realized that a somehow neutral position would be to say that Russia wants Ukraine as a vassal, and they could have traded that status for a bit of land if they just let the whole Crimea and Donetsk situation turn into a frozen war and quietly integrate into globohomo. Instead they are now set to lose a whole lot more land, way too many people, and their economy will be in ruins for a long time. And it's up to them to decide if it was a good deal or not. Yet, I'm sure many people would conclude that you support one side or the other if you were to say this publicly. >>48471 >i just thought they were giant missiles with a pre-set target I am pretty sure that they are exactly that, a missile with a camera that follows a preset route and in the end lands in a not-so-self-destructive manner behind friendly lines.
>>48461 allegedly the Georgian volunteer legion crossed into Bryansk to give Ukraine some deniability. The Ukraine MOD is denying it and claiming that the volunteer group acted under their own
>>48476 >he thinks Ukraine is in charge of anything
>>48424 Tu-141 looks gnarly because it was designed to operate at high speed in an air defense threat environment e.g. an attack on the USSR by western countries. The 'Cessna' drones are designed to operate in a low threat environment e.g. countering insurgency in western countries. >>48477 Ukraine is at war with Russia. Why would they need deniability?
Looks like Ukraine is officially pulling out of Bakhmut.
>>48479 >Why would they need deniability? Because if they officially declare war Russia can dedicate much more serious weapons to this war like nuclear artillery anf the full Russian airforce.
>>48480 A rational decision. Pravda quotes the commander of "tactical aerial reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Birds of the Magyar" >My vision of the situation is this: it's not worth it. We need to prepare positions, to roll back, level out the [front] line and hope, wait for those darned munitions German generals reached the same conclusion in 1943 but were prevented from doing so by their high command with the results we all know about. Has Ukraine learned from this lesson taught in their backyard? There are reports of bridges being blown in Bakhmut. A railway bridge in the east and the Khormove bridge which was assumed to be AFU's supply route. The road bridge in the east has been left intact for some reason. Now AFU can only withdraw cross-country or via the southern highway to Kranse which Wagner is having yet another go at taking control over. It seems some "partisans" may remain in the city to do guerrilla shit. Pretty much a suicide mission if true. >>48481 I doubt Russia needs a Ukrainian declaration to do those things. More likely they are trying to do this special operation on the cheap. Presumably the deniability is for the benefit of the western MSM and their asinine 'good vs evil' narratives. If Ukraine did declare war it would make it difficult for the media to portray them as noble heroes defending their country and then EU peoples might start questioning military support (and the ruin of their economies) in large enough numbers to be inconvenient. As Strelok said, gayops are afoot.
>>48483 Isn't this the worst possible time to try to pull out? their only route out is under Russian fire control, they'd be easy targets at least if they hunker down in the city they can slow down the Russian advance and then surrender more or less honorably
>>48484 It's the perfect political time because the situation is untenable, the veterans are dead or pulled out, and the conscripts are either stupid or prideful enough to slava Ukraini themselves to death. They can say "well we GAVE the retreat orders" while condemning those who surrendered because of encirclement as the loss of Bakhmut being their fault. Sacrificial pawns.
>>48483 >Has Ukraine learned from this lesson taught in their backyard? Which begs the question, has Ukraine actually accomplish their objective and Bakhmut was a successful delaying tactic, or have Russians outfought Ukrainian Army and Ukraine is trying to spin the situation in their favor? Both sides will no doubt claim victory, and I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens next in order to see who actually got the upper hand. Bottom line is, Wagner Russia will occupy liberate the city, so territory wise ,it's their gai
>>48461 Any videos of that?
>>48486 >their objective Being what exactly?
>>48488 Delay any Russian offensive for as long as possible, presumably to either reinforce the rear and/or allow time to counterattack. That doesn't excuse the Ukrainians being in Bakhmut for as long as they have, other then the retarded propaganda it ushered. All the soldiers who were butchered could have instead hold rear positions and strengthen the front as a whole. Or be ushered into counterattacks, which while probably suicidal, at least are superior strategically to staying in the ruins of a city completely covered by enemy artillery from multiple sides.
>>48489 >staying in the ruins of a city completely covered by enemy artillery from multiple sides Commander Magyar said Bakhmut has become "an idol". AFU has wasted too much men and material there but then there are rumors of Biden demanding action from Zelensky (to support Biden reelection campaign) so the last thing the comedian needs is another defeat. Maybe that is why they've clung to this ruin for far longer than is sane.
>>48490 >Maybe that is why they've clung to this ruin for far longer than is sane. There's nothing particularly """sane""" about the Ukrops approach, starting all the way back in 2014. This is all about optics at this point, the body-count be damned.

>>48491 >This is all about optics Sure is and those optics will continue right up to the moment when Zelensky is evacuated by helicopter from the roof of the US embassy. >>48492 >make it unprofitable for Russia to continue it and cause mass unrest at home US is certainly hoping for this. So far their sanctions have only made it unprofitable for EU to continue this war and mass unrest is more likely there. Yet vassal states obey their masters so such unrest will be repressed. See how Trudeau responded to that trucker protest for examples of "democracy" in action. I suspect the Russian people will be more angry if Putin doesn't make a real effort to win the war. Russians respect strength so only if Putin appears weak towards existential threats will they agitate for a new leader. However, it won't be for the CIA stooge who brings gay pride parades and transgender children. It will be for a real tough bastard who gets the job done.

Home turf when it comes to ideological drive ,and warm bodies as cannon fodder. Due to the political situation in Russia, UAF can comfortably trade lives at a substantial deficit as long as it attritions the Russians too and hopefully causes enough untest back home, which is why UAF is taking pitched battles like Bakhmut and Lisichansk. Though I'm thinking they actually thought they could hold Bakhmut, which is why they was so much propaganda about its importance few weeks back. I'm not saying it's a good long term plan for Ukraine, but it's their best bet. The country's fucked either way. Russias best bet is also annihilating UAF manpower though attrition, which is why they're leveraging 7-10 : 1 superiority in artillery and 400K shells a month. I won't need to tell you which advantage I'd prefer.
Is Bakhmut kill:
>>48501 >UAF can comfortably trade lives at a substantial deficit as long as it attritions the Russians too and hopefully causes enough untest back home This might be true if this was a full scale war. Russia has yet declare a full scale war, and like the US will be able to continue this conflict for years if not decades. What little unrest it may cause will barely be noticeable. If Ukraine is hoping to grind them down, they're in for an unpleasant surprise. Your post is no different then when the western media said russians would run out of ammo in the first few months. Nothing but wishful thinking.
>>48504 Not yet but it's undergoing palliative care since the doctors all left.
AFU has been fighting rear guard actions and launching diversionary assaults to distract Wagner while troops withdraw from Bakhmut. They are using dirt roads between fields to reach Chasiv Yar. Russian artillery and snipers are not making the retreat easy. Not yet known if the rear guard will be able to escape. I wonder if they will leave the city full of booby-traps. Bakhmut will be under Russian control very soon. Then RF MoD will have to launch another operation elsewhere to ablate Ukrainian manpower. 'booby-traps' sounds like something the US gov invites into elementary schools

So when is Putler gonna stop playing around with the Holol's and bring out the big guns/superior Tejas fighter jet already? The way I see things is it's inevitable these will being flying over Kiev sooner or later given Russia's own domestic MIG's have been devistated hence the heavy reliance on Iranian drones. India needs cheap gas and oil and Russia needs to dominate Luhansk and Black Sea airspace.

>>48509 >hence the heavy reliance on Iranian drones They have completely different purposes you mong. The Geran is not intended to fight aircraft.
>>48505 I'm just being realistic. Neither side has infinite men and Russia is working with much more limited amount due to their refusal to declare war. This is main reason why they switched to bite-and-hold strategy, leveraging their significant advantage in artillery and bleeding the Ukraine ,while minimizing their own casulties. However they are also suffering losses, even tough they're " significantly lower that Ukrainian" I'm not saying this, Russian war correspondents, that are embedded in front line combat units are saying this. All that being said, Russian are frustrated with lack of progrees, but are still confident in their victory. I favor Russia to win this war, both subjectively and objectively, however it's important to recognize that not everything is rosy. Problems should be recognized when they show up. >Your post is no different then when the western media said russians would run out of ammo in the first few months. Apples and oranges. The whole idea that Russia will run out of ammo in first week's of the war was sheer stupidity by WMSM. Anybody who knows even a little bit of cold war history could have deducted that Russia is sitting on Soviet legacy of enough ordnance to plow entire fields liberaly and still retains facilities to replace ammo expenditure at near 1 : 1 rate. There was ammo issues few weeks back but since then Rosoboronexport and Rostec have increased production of artillery ammunition in triple digit percentage. >>48509 >>48510 >>48511 >>48512 Sirs, please redeem Tejas

I can imagine participating in a bayonet charge is the most exhilarating viscerally primeval rush you can possibly experience as a human being Whereas being on the receiving end of such a charge is probably one of the most nerve-racking experiences as well
>>48518 You're free to Banzai charge into my MG any day Charles Mohammed Percival!
>>48517 Based on the descriptions, I'm not even sure if they affixed bayonets, and not just calling the method of running to the enemy a bayonet charge, even if they have no intention of actually bayonetting anyone. Although there was that Gurkha who killed a few ragheads with a machine gun tripod, so who knows.
>>48515 Military Summary thinks Russia will go for Siversk next as part of a strategy to control the railroad which runs north through Bakhmut. This would certainly help RuAF's logistics. Railroads are easy to disrupt but they are also relatively easy to repair providing you are not under artillery fire. This requires pushing the front west so the whole route is out of range. Any major bridges will obviously be targeted with missiles so I still wouldn't rely on it. Russia needs to pick an objective which will make AFU stand and fight (another 'idol' city) but also is within easy reach. Siversk is in a pocket in the front line but is protected by the river Donets to the north (not that a river stopped Wagner west of Soledar). Both sides want to shorten the front so AFU may retreat faster than before in a 'fuck it, let's go west and dig in properly' way. I think Russia will launch several smaller operations at once to keep AFU occupied in multiple places and prevent them from mustering large forces to counter attack. This is what USSR did to the Germans. It works when your enemy has relatively limited resources (and you have shit logistics) but it is not a quick process. Avdiivka is an obvious target. I want RuAF to take Niu-York just for the lulz. "New York has Fallen" would make a great headline.
>>48519 >portugal >armed forces thanks for giving me a good long belly laugh ive never met a single athletic or strong portuguese man and ive visited the country twice you midgets wouldnt last 10 seconds in a bayonet charge versus a Highlander regiment

Zelensky has determined to defend his idol city of Bakhmut. Some generals were opposed to this, troops on the ground strongly so, and even the US suggested he should focus on building up forces for a counter attack elsewhere once the wunderwaffen arrive. So the meat grinder is still open for business. The tactical reason given was 'chutzpah'. RT speculates that general Zaluzhny (who supported withdrawal) could be a future presidential candidate in Ukraine and implies that the comedian will have him purged. There were unconfirmed reports of the demise of the Bakhmut samolet. The heroic MiG-17 has not been seen in public since the withdrawal of elite AFU TikTok specialists. Perhaps it has been pressed back into service. It may be over 60 years old and full of snow but probably still more reliable than an F-35. Perhaps of more interest to /k/ is the Pravda story about AFU using "century old" Maxim machine guns. These were recommissioned from long term storage and used in Kiev (presumably as volkssturm equipment). The Maxim has a liquid cooled barrel so no droopy glow like in >>48146 providing you keep pissing in it. The distinctive sound it makes would be a curiosity on the modern battlefield.

is this the worlds least wanted war? I cant think of anyone who likes this war or wants it to continue. not saying putin isnt justified in continuing the war, but what i am saying is its a lousy war, a war of faggots, which nobody in particular honestly cares about if eastern ukraines border with russia is 100 miles this way or that way
>>48542 There's always someone supporting any given war, either out of a genuine conviction or plain brainwashing, so I wouldn't say this is an unwanted war. However, I think this war is another pointless one, like the soccer war, Iraq, the invasion of Panama or the Falklands; once again a very small group at the top claims this IS an existential threat that no one opposes, then troops are sent and, congratulations, you got your country into another sticky situation that will inevitably leave it in debt and with a national trauma.

Plus, inflating local currency (with regards to the international) without changing it's purchasing power in terms of (superior) local goods basically just means that I'm getting paid more since if you get paid by the internet it's in an aggregate of foreign currencies.
>>48542 > I cant think of anyone who likes this war or wants it to continue. 1. The Mirkin oligarchy wants to put EU on an even shorter leash, via puppetry, blockade and blowing up Nordstream. Which is why their pets (delusional circus goers) will cheer Ghost of Kiev or Hi, Mars or or whatever next wunderwaffe will let the Totally Independent poow wittle kleptocracy magically win Any Time Now… until the bitter end. 2. The Kremlins hope their enemies will hurt themselves even more than they already have. Not unreasonably. And the maximum extent of this harm isn’t clear: military supplies deplete, the opposition has something to align around and black market for weapons thrives… all at the same time. Also, the current stakes are unfavorable. If the post-Maidan regime folds, the saner parts of Eastern Europe can ditch the clowns instantly. If it does not… who knows, but the most obvious assumption is that the war may end, but without actual peace: the "independent" puppets would simply continue to misbehave as ordered, so it's back to square #1 in a month or three.
>>48542 >is this the worlds least wanted war? Are you retarded? Who am I kidding, of you are, brit. >>48542 >Is this the world's* least wanted war? Depends on how you define war. The Jews and WEF don't want it because that means a multipolar world which ironically hurts China hence why Israel and China have been so vocal about not wanting it. Turkey doesn't want it because they've been milking both sides and this is souring Erdogan's relation with his North American sugar daddy. Africa doesn't want it because niggas gonna starve when the Ukrainian wheat bought and paid for by the WEF for them programs gets snatched up by the white man, but Africans are also being realists, and they are almost universally throwing their weight behind Russia. Or fleeing to the USA/Canada/Europe. This has hilariously enough escalated China towards assisting Russia in order to look like they have their little hak gwai (chigger) slave colonies under control instead of being at odds with them since all the Chinese colonies in Africa keep asking to support Russia. Meanwhile basically all of the Western Hemisphere, North Africa, the Middle East, the Caucuses, Western (Muslim/Hindi) Asia, and Eastern Europe want this war in order to settle the NATO vs UN question once and for all since it will affect who they ally themselves with (if anyone) in the next decade. India might unironically become a pooper power on the basis of being a neutral stopping point between China (cheap finished goods) and Russia (cheap resources but you have to process them after a certain point) in case they happen to piss off one or the other. If NATO (Ukraine) "wins" then we'll get our first real nukes since WWII and we all get to live out our wet dreams of surviving in a totalitarian post-apocalyptic dictatorship as that guy with a few guns and a stockpile of food, dragon dildos, special brownies, and brass out the ass. Assuming the Russians "win" though... >War between Turkey and Greece breaks out over cypress >Turks wipe the floor with Greece current expected result by most analysts >NATO has Greece's back because Greece gave their up-to-date Russian missile defense systems to America to give to Ukraine after "inpecting" in exchange for HIMARS systems >Russians will intervene in Turkey's favor leading to a stalemate and Turkish ownership of Cypress and Turkey will officially leave NATO in a huff causing the collapse of the Eastern half of NATO >If Turks fuck up really badly then it just means the Bulgarians or Greeks will own the Western half of Constantinople again >Eastern/Southern Europeans will form a defensively "neutral" bloc that is part-EU and part-whatever, and collectively bargain with Germany, Sweden, Belarus, or France for military equipment until the Croats can get their chip factories up to current-decade standards allowing the Poles to do the heavy lifting >Western Europe will be forced into a three-way gangbang between Russia, America, and China, but at least they'll get some cheap gibs out of it until everything gets too sloppy to keep going >Middle East is going to largely "make amends" with Syria for practical reasons and the Russians will step in to arbitrate peace between the Yemenis and the Saudis who were genociding them >Saudi Arabia is going to become like Turkey and play both sides (but use Russian security as a precaution after seeing Nordstream) >Israel is going to finally find some "peace" with their neighbors but only because they'll be sweating bullets because their golem is underwater with debt and/or civil war >Hyperinflation and/or Civil War in America unless a populist conservative manages to do 12 years worth of work in 4 >This could spark something with Canada/Mexico and lead to either Mega-hispania/Mega-leafland or make North America in the 21st Century look like South America in the 20th Century with the number of internal conflicts sparked by external sources >Most of Asia and East Africa sides with China or India as the central focal points >India forms closer ties with Russia in exchange for Russian security guarantees against China/Myanmar/Bangladesh/Pakistan >This is mostly just honorary as that whole region will be at newfound "peace" after a few internal conflicts that likely won't break out into real full-on war >Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Australia, Thailand, possibly Canada, and possibly Vietnam will form an anti-China Pacific Coalition after China takes Taiwan as a reactionary response >China will try to counter this with a South Korea-Taiwan-Palau-Papua New Guinea (PNG) sword to separate cheap resources in the Philippines from cheap manufacturing in Japan forcing Japan to rely on Alaska for resources (and whatever remnant American government exists on the West Coast down the line) >Because South Korea is already playing both sides and the Gooks are acting as a Chinese spy in their relations with Taiwan and Japan >We'll finally get new Pacific guns(?) >Great Britain and Norway will become Oil Barons lording over Western Europe for having seen the Americans' plans of debt slavery in advance >Regardless of what happens to Ukraine, if they don't surrender in the next four months they will never have the resources to pay back the IMF/Americans and will quickly be forgotten as "that country we pushed all our debt off to" unless the Americans do some kind of industrial deal to use Ukraine as a stand-in for China to get back at Poland for forming a neutral bloc >Antarctic treaties set to expire in about 25 years anyways will be ripped up since half the countries will have lost their ability to defend their claims >The Antarctic Gold Rush will begin >The global slave trade will likely also pick up around the same time as a means for poor countries to combat cheap Chinese/cheap Russian/cheap Japanese goods These are my predictions for the next decade, by the way.

>>48566 >War between Turkey and Greece breaks out over cypress Isn't this escalation from "Who has more authority, NATO or the UN?" to "What happens when two NATO countries fight each other?" a little too fast? Greece could at least have Bulgaria to back it up. They may hate each other, but they hate Turks more. >Turkey will officially leave NATO in a huff causing the collapse of the Eastern half of NATO Wouldn't this cause another refugee crisis and put Erdogan on the same level as Saddam or Gadhafi in the eyes of America? >Eastern/Southern Europeans will form a defensively "neutral" bloc that is part-EU and part-whatever Do you mean a Balkan expansion of Visegrád or would Italy be part of this? >Hyperinflation and/or Civil War in America unless a populist conservative manages to do 12 years worth of work in 4 I doubt that a populist conservative is necessary. It's wishful thinking. There are many ways to tackle America's current problems to try staving off things like hyperinflation. Unfortunately, all ideologues at the biggest stage of American politics want to maintain the status quo or bring one back from a few years ago, but to bring something back something else will have to go, either the political, economic, or cultural status quo. >This could spark something with Canada/Mexico and lead to either Mega-hispania/Mega-leafland I doubt that Mexico has the gall to try to take territory, but I predict a lot of cartel-apologists from the left if things get too bad. Canada taking anything would be culturally and economically disastrous. At best, a "refugee crisis" to Canada might happen. >China will try to counter this with a South Korea-Taiwan-Palau-Papua New Guinea (PNG) sword You mentioned Taiwan twice, once on both sides. I doubt that South Korea will become buddies with China outside of undermining Taiwan and Japan because China still supports North Korea and is against reunification. Additionally, one of South Korea's goals is cultural victory over other nations. It wouldn't turn itself into a pariah against developed markets to keep China. >Great Britain and Norway will become Oil Barons Britain's economic and environmental policies and Tory mismanagement won't allow it. Plus, Britain cannot provide a sufficient supplementary income to all of its citizens based on oil sales at its current capacity. The architecture for an OPEC-style system doesn't exist. Norway might exert some influence over the North Sea, but it's more likely to resume trade with Russia by the Pomor route than try to influence a nation like the Netherlands or Spain. >unless the Americans do some kind of industrial deal to use Ukraine as a stand-in for China to get back at Poland for forming a neutral bloc This is interesting but, again, unlikely. The Ukraine does not have the manpower or industry to sufficiently supplement America. Building more industry means getting rid of farmland, and the Ukraine is a necessary agricultural exporter for Europe. Companies could move workers there, but the political backlash would be too great. On the right, Americans would be losing their jobs to rebuild a nation dangerously close to an enemy power while illegal immigrants stay. On the left, minorities would be removed and citizens moved to a nation where unions don't matter.

Meanwhile, back at the war...nothing is happening. Anything that does happen habbens very slowly. Wagner has captured the last Ukrainian tank but still no news on the fate of the idol samolet. Eastern Bakhmut is under full Wagner control (since AFU left) and they are trying to cross the river. Ru MoD Shoigu agrees with Zelensky that Bakhmut is best idol of enormous strategic importance somehow. In circus news the whole of NATO is pushing a bizarre narrative about "Ukrainian partisans" blowing up Nordstream. Everyone knows Chinese spy balloons did it. Polish president reportedly said that Nordstream sabotage is "useful and beneficial" to Europe. Like how Molotov-Ribbentrop pact was useful and beneficial to Poland. The dollar is going out of fashion as India and Russia are now trading in their own currencies. But Janet Yellen should not worry - Ukraine still trades NATO weapons in dollars. >>48587 It seems AFU is keeping its best units out of harm's way to save them for the big meme assault when the wunderwaffen arrive. >>48591 >Aren't the beaners multiplying more than the whites and niggers in america? Yeah but they are their own sub-culture and the spics are mixed, the ones in northeast US are caribbeans and true central americans, the ones in the southwest are mostly northern mexicans (frontiersmen), the ones in the west and southeast are southern mexicans, Texas is all mixed up. The ones in Florida are mostly refugees from Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia and a tiny drop of Correa era Ecuador. Generally speaking all that means 4 to 5 different sub-cultures with their own different gangs and agendas, and all of them are also different from their home countries. In terms of red beans wanting to do something in the southwest: That won't happen because they live one or two hours away from their original areas and many seasonally live here or there, spend dollars here and work there or play as link ups for people selling american shit here, it's like pissing in your own bed if they try something funny. Western spics are always playing the great Aztlan plan but they rarely speak actual spanish and have an ironic universal animosity with the real mexicans here, the unity between mexicans is non-existent in general, a gray phantom from the chicano rhetoric of trying to play as brothers when in reality they segregate themselves by accents and by how they make their tortillas. The only way that plan comes to fruition is by playing the long chinaman game, "USA turns into another beaner country" in a century or two and even then it will be a game of "my cousin is my neighbor but he's an asshole" kind of situation. I don't think americans should be concerned about that other than them trying to separate themselves as an independent/autonomous state rather than come back to Mexico (they won't). And if California gets to become Mexico somehow in a turn of unlikely events, there won't be any black people in it after 2 or 3 decades. Polite sage because kinda unrelated, americans panic too much about shitcanos and illegals planning something, even in the fields picking lettuces we fought amongst ourselves.

>>48599 Saudi seem to be loyal little puppets. So dollar will be good for something. For a while. But it’s not anywhere near Petrodollar domination. But seeing how that entire region works (at least, after the locals were fucked over by Brits and oil became all-important), stability is a joke, unless at gunpoint. As it happens, now NATO does not seem to be good at the "gunpoint" part anymore (even Nordstream was done in by the Poles, or at least it looks this way). So they have to ask: would those crazy guys be able and willing to overthrow Saddam if he waited to this year? Hmm. One fine day someone over there is going to take the risk and overthrow those loyal puppets, probably with help from one of the neighbors. Then what?
>>48621 >Saudi seem to be loyal little puppets It does beg the question why they've never been targeted by USA for "freedom and democracy". Like the rest of the region they have an appalling human rights record and lots of oil. We're told that US wars in deserts are all about oil protip: they're not so Saudi would be an obvious target. Yet they are allowed to do what they like so long as they buy western weapons to do it. According to an Arab I met the Saudis are the 12th tribe of Israel, house of Judah or something. Maybe that's the real reason why they avoid the attention of the 'rules-based order' like their cousins are allowed to annex all of Palestine without sanction.
>>48625 >It does beg the question why they've never been targeted by USA for "freedom and democracy". Because King Ibn Saud was basically the founder of the modern state of Israel alongside Roosevelt. There's also the fact that the Saudis have been something of a "loyal ally" to America since the 1920s and have been pivotal in every single administration's Arabian Peninsula policies since the 1940s. Also the petrodollar used by around 70% of the world is founded on American-Saudi relations.

>>48625 The Saudis are a boot on the throat of Arab nationalism and Islamic unification and have been since the Hashemites. They control Mecca and Medina, so whoever they don't allow into these cities is basically excommunicated. This, OPEC, and Israel prevent any lasting form of unification or unity among Arab states. Keeping the Middle East unstable allows for easier development of and trade in friendly territory, illegal economic activity, and a more decentralized method of bartering for resources. Additionally, positive relations with the state can be used as proof that the West and Muslims can get along by establishing them as the "Good Arabs" despite their working with hostile nations, practically confirmed strange and illegal sex parties, funding of fundamentalists who are almost indistinguishable in theology from terrorists, funding and training and harboring of terrorists, invasive investments, and vice grip on politicians and celebrities. The UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar are supported for the same reasons. United States policy is to prevent a single power from having the capacity to cut off land trade through and oil from the region. If such a state included Egypt, it would also be able to cut off the majority of sea trade to and from Europe. Thus, America supports the Saudis.
>>48620 >>48628 The US must really want to break Russia this time and doesn't care if they end up unleashing WWIII in the time of it. It's pretty stupid to continue to put more pressure on Russia at this point. It'll just make them dig in harder and will cause them to grow closer to India and China economically and additionally to China militarily. What happens if they put enough pressure on Russia for China to supply them with military aid? Does America really want to have to make good on its threat against China? Don't they know it will break the US is China responds with sanctions of its own or starts offloading the dollar? What if China starts to escalate with Taiwan in response? I know the executive office is retarded but I was under the illusion that who ever it was puppeting the executive office had some degree of sense. Power has been knocked out at Zaporizhzia for the 6th damn time.>>48637 >America has simply lost her way since 2000's. I think a big part of that is that America has been struggling to find it's new "thing" since the end of the triumphant post WWII Era + Cold War Era. They tried to fight arabs for awhile but they just couldn't get people on board like they could for for getting then to fight Nazis and then subsequently commies. Then the more leftist side of the monoparty tried to make fighting social and environmental issues America's new "thing" but all that's done is cause social fracture instead of rallying everyone together and people have gotten fully tired of it now. Now we're back to riffing on the old Cold War model and are trying to rally people to fight Russians and then pivot to fighting China. Only the Russian thing hasn't gone as smoothly as what it's suppose to have. It was suppose to be 2 or 3 weeks before sanctions crushed Russia and forced them to quit the war in disgrace, possibly ousting Putin in the time of it. Instead the west has been sending money and military resources into the moneypit that is Ukraine and have only managed to tarpit Russia instead or drive them out. I just don't think Washington has any ideas left to make their new "thing" and they're stuck with Russia or China, or Russia and China as the new mission statement for the current era of the US.
>>48643 we are going to be pivoting to China fully in the coming years. What I am curious to see though is whether the US will be around to fully pivot to China. You see, not everyone is onboard with the idea right now, and at best it would simply be the new "current thing" that people would only care about for 2 months max. They arent going to get major public support for a military campaign against China, and they we are still far to reliant on China for production assets. We are sorta thinking about fixing that right now, but the issue is that we are doing it really shittily as we do everything now. Gotta love black people!

Those that get to drive the Leopards are in Germany right at this moment and get trained by the Bundeswehr. Those that get to drive the Challengers are in the UK right at this moment and get trained by the British Army. And when the USA sends the Abrahams, those Ukrainians that drive them will propably be trained by the US forces stationed in Germany. Basically when it comes to heavy equipment NATO can just train Ukrainian soldiers in the safety of the EU and then send them into the war together with the heavy equipment they have been trained on as one package. There is no danger of Ukrainians ending up with equipment they don't know how to operate. >>48660 >Chinese cycle of history History dosn't move forward when people remain static. The Kremlin may be attempting to establish a new Russian government-controlled armed formation billed as a volunteer unit through the Russian state-owned energy company Gazprom. https://archive.ph/bbJii > A prominent Russian milblogger stated that Gazprom subsidiary Gazprom Neft is forming a volunteer formation analogous to Russian Combat Army Reserve (BARS) units.[12] The milblogger originally claimed that Gazprom Neft is forming a private military company (PMC) and is actively deploying unspecified elements to occupied Donetsk Oblast before later issuing a correction that the Gazprom Neft formation is a volunteer unit, not a PMC. The milblogger claimed Gazprom Neft’s recruitment campaign generated interest in Donetsk City given that the company is offering 400,000 rubles (approximately $5,260) salary per month and additional compensation for performance bonuses.[13] The milblogger added that this offered salary is twice the amount offered by the Wagner Group, noting that a volunteer in the Gazprom Neft formation can—with bonuses—earn up to 600,000 rubles (about $7,890) per month. Gazprom Neft may be attempting to compete with Wagner for recruits from Donetsk Oblast given that Wagner is also conducting its own recruitment campaign in the area.

>>48678 found an related article The spread of Russia’s private military >Russian private military companies are now operating in dozens of countries around the world, often in areas of political instability and with abundant natural resources, writes Mohamed Hafez >Burkina Faso joined its neighbour Mali in January in expelling French forces and exploring hiring Russian private military companies (PMCs) to replace them. These African countries are not alone, as Russian PMCs continue to operate in many countries around the world. The best known of them is the Wagner Group that took part in the Crimean crisis in 2014 and is now taking part in the Russia-Ukraine war.    >Numerous factors, some external and others domestic related to the return to power of Russian President Vladimir Putin, led the Russians to follow the US and Western model of such companies. >With the collapse of the former Soviet Union and end of the Cold War in 1991, the Western powers shifted away from the principle that the state should have the sole right to the use of military force and began to use the paramilitary forces of private contractors like the Titan Corporation, MPRI, Blackwater, DynCorp and CACI in the conflicts in Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan despite the fact that the UN Security Council has never issued a mandate permitting such deployments abroad. >As a consequence of the breakup of the Soviet Union, vast numbers of Russian military and security personnel were discharged. Many of them established relations with private military and security firms abroad, especially US and British ones (DynCorp and Blackwater) which operated in Afghanistan and Iraq. >At the same time, entire Soviet military units that had been dissolved after the collapse formed private military firms. The Alpha Group was a Soviet-era counterterrorism task force that then became attached to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB). Rubikon, which oversaw arrangements for organising transport for volunteers to combat fronts, fought alongside the Serbs during the Yugoslav Civil War in the 1990s. >Such companies were given a boost with Putin’s rise to power in 2000 and the privatisation of many economic sectors in Russia, leading to the establishment of major defence and energy companies in which the state retained a majority share. The management of these companies was assigned to intelligence and political leaders close to Putin such as Sergei Ivanov, Igor Sechin, and Sergey Chemezov. >These firms needed security, so they turned to Russian private contractors to perform the tasks of private security companies everywhere, namely to protect their premises, staff, and activities. However, the security companies also performed military functions abroad, whether attached to the Russian military or in collaboration with the forces of Russian allies. >From 2000 to 2021, there was an increase in Russian PMCs to around 20 major firms, according to some intelligence agencies. Prominent examples are Lukom-A, founded in 1992 by the Russian oil company Lukoil to protect its investments in Iraq, Anti-Terror Orel, founded in the Russian city of Orel (Oryol) in 2003 as a “non-governmental education and training centre,” and the Moran Security Group, an offshoot of Oral that was registered in 1998 and eventually established a subsidiary in Hong Kong called Slavonic Corps owned by former Moran Group deputy director Vadim Gusev. >The Wagner Group surfaced for the first time in 2014 during the war in the Donbas. Founded by Dmitry Utkin, a military intelligence officer, it has roots in other PMCs including Anti-Terror Orel, Moran, and the Slavonic Corps. >According to a report published by the Washington-based Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in July 2021, the number of countries in which these Russian PMCs operate increased sevenfold from four in 2015 to 27 in 2021. They have been particularly active in Africa (in, for example, Botswana, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Madagascar, Sudan, Mozambique, Tanzania, Mali and Eritrea), but they have also operated in Latin America (Venezuela), Europe (Belarus, Serbia, and Ukraine), the Middle East (Iraq, Syria, and Yemen), Southwest Asia (Afghanistan), and the Caucasus (Azerbaijan). >The Russian PMCs serve the Russian state in various ways. They are used to support the governments of allied nations against uprisings and revolutions, to protect vital economic interests and facilities abroad, and to perform and secure logistical operations for the procurement, transport, and distribution of raw and primary materials. >In short, they are a cost-effective means for Russia to achieve important foreign-policy goals without having to officially engage in conflict. On the one hand, this averts the risk of public anger over Russian troop losses abroad, as occurred during the Russian occupation of Afghanistan, while on the other, it also helps to counter US and Western hegemony and work towards a multipolar order. >The roles and services the PMCs perform vary according to needs and circumstances. For example, the functions they are required to perform in Libya are not the same as they are in Syria. Moscow has a relatively limited role to play in Libya compared to its role in Syria. In the former, the PMCs serve economic and political purposes intended to ensure that Russia has a place in any political settlement process, while in the latter they support and sustain a strategic alliance. >In the Central African Republic, Russian PMCs have been engaged by the Russian Lobaye Invest Company to support gold and diamond mining activities. They also train the Republic’s presidential guards and army. In northern Mozambique, they serve in the fight against the Islamic State (ISIS) group. In Sudan, Wagner PMC oversees a camp recently established in Omdurman to train Sudanese special forces and intelligence operatives. >But regardless of how their functions might vary from one country to another, the Russian PMCs all perform the following services: providing operational and tactical support during military operations; training governmental and non-governmental forces; collecting and analysing intelligence information; protecting commercial vessels and shipments in the ports and high seas; mine removal; securing refugee convoys; protecting and equipping forces; providing onsite security; engaging in propaganda warfare, information gathering and analysis; strategic planning for conflict zones; guarding and security; supplying goods and logistics services to military forces; and participating in combat operations and the recruitment of volunteers. >While Western PMCs perform pretty much the same roles and services, the Russian PMCs differ from their Western counterparts in several respects. They are prohibited by law from operating inside Russia itself, and they engage in offensive operations that the Western PMCs are officially not allowed to do. They also tend to be more ideologically motivated, are less inclined to offer logistics and support services, and operate at the direction of the Russian security agencies and are therefore not governed by market pressures, unlike the Western PMCs. >The Russian PMCs started out under the supervision of the Kremlin and the Russian security agencies. Over the past two decades, the Russian authorities have increasingly come to feel the need for “measures short of war” of the sort that proved successful in defending South Ossetia in 2008. >Developed, strengthened, and honed during the war in Ukraine that began after the regime change in Kyiv in 2014, such measures involve clandestine operations that sometimes include assassinations, the use of mercenaries, unconventional warfare, disinformation campaigns, and other covert activities. >Many of these types of activities have been farmed out to PMCs formed under the auspices of the Russian intelligence agencies. >If Moscow’s use of PMCs to advance its foreign policy goals has met with mixed success, it will probably still continue to refine the Russian model for these firms as it utilises them to broaden its influence in Sub-Saharan Africa and elsewhere where political instability and an abundance of natural resources happens to coincide. >At the same time, the US and the other Western powers will increase the pressure on Moscow and other countries to rein in Russian PMCs that have come to pose a threat to US and Western interests. https://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/50/1203/491299/AlAhram-Weekly/World/The-spread-of-Russia%E2%80%99s-private-military.aspx https://archive.vn/534zP

Russian forces have confirmed earlier reports regarding the Bakhmut samolet. The MiG-17 which guarded the western highway while AFU took selfies has been destroyed by artillery fire. The following reports are unconfirmed: President Zelensky yesterday toured NATO countries to demand a replacement samolet. UK Defense Minister Ben Wallace promised to send a Typhoon to replace the vintage MiG. When challenged on the rationale for offering the RAF's current front line fighter instead of a vintage type he assured parliament that the Typhoon will be a museum piece before any arrive in Ukraine. Polish government is willing to provide a MiG-17 from its own museums in exchange for an F100 Super Sabre from the USA. In Washington a spokesperson for the Department of Heritage and Historical Revision stated that while the US has over 200 examples of the F100 they are "all needed at the current time" before reminding the press that Xer pronoun is spelled 'Xe' and not 'Xi'. NATO general-secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg expressed "grave concern" at the ability of Russia to replace historic Soviet fighters on plinths faster than NATO. He called on all member states to offer their remaining stocks of mounted MiG-17 to ensure "lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond". The CIA reports that Iran and/or DPRK is ready to supply Russia with a replacement samolet of "equivalent obsolescence". US Secretary of Defense Spending Lloyd Austin cited the report as evidence of "dangerous escalation" by Iran and/or DPRK before promising another 1 Billion USD for "inoperable air assets" in Ukraine. The Pentagon has uncovered a Chinese plan to develop a joint aviation memorial with Russia. US Secretary of Something Anthony Blinken stated that the prospect of monument co-operation between the two nuclear powers is "a growing threat to the rules-based order of industrial heritage". Meanwhile a memorial to the 'People's Balloon of Friendship' has opened in Beijing. The full size model of the 'Hero of the Long Drift' is constructed from "bamboo, silk and carbon fiber nanotubes" according to the Ministry of Public Enlightenment. In response the USA has pledged to send a statue of the F-22 to Taipei. The life-size miniature is made from an innovative material described as a "non-binary composite" and costs more than an operational F-22.

Rybar has published a possible AFU meme assault for the south, citing some guy's guesswork a third party source. Interestingly it shows a two pronged offensive east of Zaporizhzhia. 'Army group A' attacks from Orikhiv towards Melitopol while 'Army group B' starts further east and aims for Berdyansk. This may be intended to prevent the situation of a single group getting counter attacked from two sides. Meanwhile a diversion is created by multiple small raids across the river focused in the Kherson area. Western MBT might be used to counter attack Bakhmut at the same time (assuming it is still on the front line by then). The river crossings would have to be made at night to avoid artillery fire. The river delta near Kherson appears difficult to cross due to the marshes. A high river would help so this sets the window of opportunity around the spring thaw. Timing of the two offensives in the east would have to be carefully managed for maximum effect. Is it better to start them together or to stagger them so the first is a 'distraction' to draw RuAF away from the real assault? If the latter than Army group B goes first. Both attacks need significant men and weapons to avoid being crushed by Russian forces. Assuming the assaults are effective and open corridors to their objectives the big question is 'what next?'. I assume Army Group B will stall Russian reinforcements from the east while Group A turns west to link up with amphibious assaults and attack Crimea. Before that the Russian forces between need to be neutralized. Without many tanks this plan is a fantasy. Also the divided objective of Army Group A (Melitopol and Berdyansk) is reminiscent of the over ambitious German plans in 1942. Of course the whole thing is redundant if RuMoD can read about it on social media. Maybe Ukraine will exploit this and feint the assault as a diversion from something big in the north. AFU needs Zubr hovercraft instead of barges. RuAF then brings express reinforcements to western Crimea by A-90 ekranoplan. This would be kino (but A-90 is on a plinth in Moscow and Zubr was sold to Greece).
>>48747 >Is it better to start them together or to stagger them so the first is a 'distraction' to draw RuAF away from the real assault? If the latter than Army group B goes first. This isn't the 1940's. I find it fairly difficult to believe that 'surprises' can happen today on the battlefield. The only real opportunity for such is treachery IMO, or simply the (still-present) Fog of War. >tl;dr Together.

Whoever breaks that Soviet conditioning will have the advantage but this could still turn out to be a war of stupidity. >Together That is the best chance of neutralizing the RuAF caught between the two attacks and to cut off their supply route from the east. >>48757 >NATO/Zelensky must be demanding a spring offensive, so they'll attempt it anyway. This. There are a lot of optics for NATO politicians to preserve so they will be pressuring the comedian to do something with all those weapons he has been given even if it's a big risk for long term survival of the army. But why would they care about that? They are only risking Ukrainian lives. Meanwhile Prigozhin expects a counter attack around Bakhmut aimed at pushing back Wagner/RuAF flanks so the city can be secured. If Ukraine has enough men and weapons to do both this and the southern attack at the same time then they could be successful, yet this would mean drawing forces away from the rest of the front and giving Russia an open door for their own attack in the north. Perhaps we will see simultaneous meme assaults from both sides with neither allocating sufficient resources to defense.
Media is reporting a collision between a Russian jet and a US surveillance drone over the Black Sea.
https://archive.is/N5gl3 >A senior Ukrainian government official told The Washington Post that Kyiv doesn’t have the resources to pull off a big counteroffensive in the coming months as Ukraine is lacking skilled troops, munitions, and other equipment. >“If you have more resources, you more actively attack,” said the official, who spoke to the Post on the condition of anonymity. “If you have fewer resources, you defend more. We’re going to defend. That’s why if you ask me personally, I don’t believe in a big counteroffensive for us. I’d like to believe in it, but I’m looking at the resources and asking, ‘With what?’ Maybe we’ll have some localized breakthroughs.” >The official said Ukraine doesn’t have “the people or weapons” to pull off a counteroffensive. “And you know the ratio: When you’re on the offensive, you lose twice or three times as many people. We can’t afford to lose that many people,” the official said. >The Post also spoke with a Ukrainian battalion commander who went by the name of Kupol and detailed the grim situation on the frontlines. Kupol said his battalion previously withdrew from the town of Soledar, which is near the eastern city of Bakhmut, and came under Russian control in January. >Kupol said of his battalion of 500 troops, 100 were killed, and about 400 were wounded, leading to a complete turnover. He’s now being sent soldiers with no combat experience and very little training. “I get 100 new soldiers,” Kupol said. “They don’t give me any time to prepare them. They say, ‘Take them into the battle.’ They just drop everything and run. That’s it.” >“Do you understand why? Because the soldier doesn’t shoot. I ask him why, and he says, ‘I’m afraid of the sound of the shot,’” he added. The Post report said that Ukraine has sent in an influx of draftees to replace more experienced soldiers who have been killed or wounded. It said that as more Ukrainian men who didn’t volunteer fear they will get called to battle, Ukraine’s security services shut down Telegram accounts that were helping Ukrainians avoid locations where authorities were handing out draft slips. >Kupol said Ukrainian forces are also fighting with very little ammunition. “You’re on the front line,” he said. “They’re coming toward you, and there’s nothing to shoot with.” The Kyiv Independent also recently spoke with Ukrainian soldiers who said they were fighting without much ammunition, training, and support. Yeah this doesn't sound like winning. It sounds like they've already lost but are just in the walking ghost phase.

>>48768 this has been my impression of the fighting from the last month. Russia made it very clear their goals now are simply to bleed the Ukrainians in Bakmut, and they seem to have been sticking to that. I remember reading Ukraine's average fighting age for their men now is 40, which is a grim sign as at least half of them are over 40. It seems their proper military is virtually gone at this point, either dead or to wounded to actively fight anymore, and we already know their leadership skills arent that great as they suffer from this insane idea thye have to get ALL of their territory back all at once and keep expanding the front with no troops or supplies to really support that kind of warfare. Their failing to adopt more guerilla tactics and deciding to fight Russia in an open war has basically cost them the future fortitude of their country at least all in the efforts of expelling a numerically smaller force then their own army. Now that force is exponentially greater than it was before and their strategic inadequacies are being fixed. It is unironically over, I wish they would sue for peace in order to at least save the lives of their remaining men and have a hope at rebuilding anything. Way its going now, Russia will have zero issue taking over however much of Ukraine they want and culturally conquering into back into Russia proper as there will simply be no people left to oppose it

>>48771 That was my first thought in a 'there are no Sabre missions over Manchuria' way. Russia is now claiming the drone had its transponder off and strayed out of international airspace. Then it fell out the sky of its own accord after attempting to maneuver. Most likely the Russian pilots gave it a close pass with lots of jet wash and that was enough to overwhelm the stability system so that slender wing spar failed and the whole thing became a submersible. >>48751 There was a story about its test flights. One prototype (made of a cheaper alloy they stopped using after this) scraped rocks when landing. On the next test flight the pilot slams it into a wave. Some instruments in the cockpit shut down, but takeoff engines are working. Alexeev (designer) was present. He jumps the controls, sets the engines to full throttle. Then takes one look from top hatch, says only "To the base" and replaces the pilot. So he flies it himself back like this, lands, then the commission observing the tests disembarks and finds out what happened. It turns out the entire tail with cruising engine, rudder and a good chunk of fuselage broke off. Never mind, flew about 40 km like that.

>>48843 >the TU-22 >Air for the crew was provided by a bleed air system on the engine compressors. This air was hot and had to be cooled before being pumped into the cockpit. This cooling was provided by a large total-loss evaporator running on a mixture of 40% ethanol and 60% distilled water (effectively vodka). This system garnered the aircraft one of its many nicknames, the "supersonic booze carrier". As the system vented the coolant after use, the aircraft could run out during flight, and comfort had to be balanced by the possibility of running out of coolant.[23] Numerous cases of Tu-22 crews drinking the coolant mixture and becoming paralytically drunk led to a crackdown by Soviet Air Force authorities. Access to the bombers after flights was restricted, and more frequent checks were made on coolant levels. Still better than the F-35's heat issues.
>>48849 >fighting spirit trumps material every time Well geography helps too.
>>48849 >Explain Afghanistan Which part? Fighting spirit never won. The Americans came in, practically destroyed them, the Taliban collapsed as an organization into a handful of Durkas by 2002. If the Americans had pulled out officially by the end of 2003/2004 and declared it over outside of financial assistance and some aircraft to take out Durka militants, Afghanistan would be a thriving and functional secular democracy today. It would be a bit overburdened, dysfunctional, and slow like India's, but with a functioning 70k strong military and control with POPULAR SUPPORT of most of the country. Instead, Bin Laden basically taunted Bush during the presidential campaign and Bush developed a personal grudge leading to an economic and military partnership that lead to all the other shit that convinced Afghani people that going back to the towelheads might be better.
And just to clarify... >2021 Afghanistan: A corrupt institution universally despised by everyone except Afghani urban women, rent-seekers, and swindlers domestically >2006 Afghanistan: A fresh but unsteady democracy with resolve to fight to the last but was willing to reconcile with Al Qaeda, and who needed logistical support/loans; not the entirety of NATO at their fingertips
>>48843 >Is that Yuri Alexeev? Rostislav Alexeev. He designed the self-stabilized tandem hydrofoil system which is still in use all over the second world. This got Kruschev interested and huge funds were made available for development of the ekranoplan. After the prototype A-90 incident his political rivals had him removed from his own design bureau. He died in 1980 apparently from an injury received during his own testing of ekranoplan concepts. He was a genius engineer but perhaps too strong a character for the Brezhnev regime. Im not saying fighting spirit can overcome poor geography and it cannot give you a high kill ratio however it does mean you can win wars against all odds
the only way to deal with a population with a fighting spirit is to stop them having children (genocide) or to physically remove them to a geographical area like concentration camps or how the jews were sent into mesopotamian captivity

>>48878 More like the US would have won Vietnam if they invaded North Vietnam instead of pussyfooting around over fears of drawing the Chinese into the war like a second Korea (Mao wrote that off as a possibility internally since he was splitting from the Soviet camp.) but then again if the UK invaded ireland we could never hold the country. not becuase the irish have lots of material (although the entire world would choose them over the UK no questions asked) but because they have a fighting spirit. its just only activated around UK soldiers.

of course people who have nothing will fight for everything. only people with something to lose lack fighting spirit.
>>48883 It wasn't a Muslim unity thing. Pakistan thought that if it won Afghanistan as a puppet, the Pakistani military could retreat into it in the event of a war with India. Why should we be up in arms over a drone that's drone that was probably several decades old anyway? If I had to guess it would be because the US is on the defensive, morale wise, and has become obsessed with trying to show the whole debacle as a win for the US MIC. Every time Russia has a setback it's proof that they're "only days away from losing" and every time Russia has a success it only because Putin personally sacrificed a Ukrainian loli to the Chaos God of Racism and Homophobia. Also there the fact that drones were suppose to be the new future, unconquerable what that wars will be fought and won with no losses on 'Murrica's side. Drones really have been hyped up for longer than 20 years at this point, even though they've only basically been tested in the field against sandnigger kindergartners or against poor Achmed when he's caught pants down behind a donkey, and against the occasional drug lord. As it turns out they're not so great against people with a functioning airforce, even if those people are Slavs. It kind of reminds me how the US use to be real cautious with their super hyped wunderwaffen so that their propaganda effect wouldn't be destroyed by the loss of a device in war. Like how, it was either the Blackbird or the Nighthawk, was theorized by the designers to be good enough to fly during the day and they even did R&D on the ideal color to paint it for ideal daytime camo but then the DoD basically said OH FUCK NO and forced them to paint it midnight black so that no one would ever consider flying for anything but night missions. Apparently the color was basically vaporwave pink.

Also, the Reaper that got pissed out of the sky did have Gorgon Stare pods ,which is supposedly some good shit when it comes to reconnaissance. >Taliban Kek, given the clusterfuck that happened during pull out of Afghanistan, I wouldn't be surprised they have some top shelf stuff lying around somewhere.
>>48919 >As it turns out they're not so great against people with a functioning airforce, even if those people are Slavs. Not even an airforce. One of the most "suprising" parts of the war has been how the Gepard FLAK tank has shown that it is a beast in shooting down Russian Drones and that the concept of it is far from being obsolete. The only downside has been that the Swiss are unwilling to hand over ammunition to the Ukrainians, which is why Germany is building a new factory. There is even a new FLAK tank in planning for the German Army now. But who would have thought that a tank from the 1970s is shreddering 21 century technology fifty years later like it's nothing and even beating it's soviet counterparts in effectiveness?

I like how, of all the war crimes Russia has been accused of in the past year, the one the arrest warrant was issued for is transporting children away from the war zone into Russian territory. Russia has been launching missile attacks on AFU positions in Dnipropetrovsk. Apparently this is where forces are massing for the summer meme assault. Apart from that the war is in autosage like the thread so here is circus news instead. (Some details of these reports are unconfirmed) Russia continues to search for remains of the 'viperfish of the black sea' MQ-9 drone. Iran says it has reverse engineered MQ-9 years ago. It's called Kaman-22 and some sources claim that its internal electronics are sourced from the same factory which supplies parts for MQ-9. China has declined to comment so far. Zelensky has ordered sanctions against Bashar al-Assad. This is a serious setback as it means Syria will have to buy weapons on the open market from now on. Gernomoney and Japan have announced the resumption of their alliance against Russia. Marshall Zhukov was unavailable for comment due to being on a 'long and dangerous mission in the other world'. Japan vowed to keep producing isekai until he is found. Seymour Hersch made further noises about Nordstream Sabotage claiming he knows more details but must protect his sources. Rumors abound that US deep state wants him dead so bad they sent him a train ticket. In DPRK there has in one day been 800,000 spontaneous applications to join the glorious and mighty peoples' revolutionary army. Respected Comrade Kim Jong-Un is reported to have expressed 'satisfied indifference' at the news while sister Kim Yo-Jong, known to millions throughout Asia as 'best imouto', declared that 'the unstoppable power of national unity will crush the pelvis of American imperialist dogs with unprecedented vigor and lasting precision'. UK MoD has released video of Ukrainian crews training on Challenger 2 tank. Sorry, tanks (UK assures me it has more than one). A newly qualified tank commander commented "By jove this will give old Putin a dose of the salts, what! Erm...Saliva Ukraini...cycle blatt...and so forth.". A Sergeant loader who gave his name as 'Nigelomir Wilsonsky' added "Crimea is our bleedin' manor an' no mistake. Dem ruzzkies won't no wot 'it 'em, m8." Meanwhile UK Gov declined to comment on alleged leaks from MI6 claiming that British crews could potentially pass for Ukrainian speakers if they were "sufficiently drunk".
>>48946 Gave me a nice smirk
>>48946 >Zelensky has ordered sanctions against Bashar al-Assad Probably because the Sauds, Turks, Israelis, Iranians, and Assad (along with a few others) are all gonna be in Russia I believe either this week or next week, so America is asshurt.
>>48946 >Zelensky has ordered sanctions against Bashar al-Assad. This is a serious setback as it means Syria will have to buy weapons on the open market from now on. As in, some Ukrainian elements were secretly selling them weapons? >Meanwhile UK Gov declined to comment on alleged leaks from MI6 claiming that British crews could potentially pass for Ukrainian speakers if they were "sufficiently drunk". I get that this is a joke, but is there something suggesting that they tried to pass of a few bongs as genuine hohols, or is it just speculation?
>>48951 >secretly selling them weapons Maybe that has in fact happened, but the flagless Strelok is just making a joke about the irrelevance of the sanctions. >genuine hohols I think they'd send sheep-dipped crewmen instead of that.
>>48951 >is it just speculation? It's actually a tricky situation for UK MoD. The Challenger is too sensitive to risk losing on frontline operations with inexperienced crews. UK has confirmed this by saying they will also send recovery equipment for damaged tanks. Russia would certainly like to acquire Dorchester armor and whatever other secret shit is in those things. Yet UK likes to show USA its tiny armed forces can still make a difference (and that its doctrine is superior) so London might be tempted to use British crews for some heroic assault aimed at capturing the headlines. But they must be careful as a captured UK crew would be a major incident (and major humiliation). Russia might call it a declaration of war unless everyone agrees to cover up the whole thing and make the captives 'infantry volunteers'. With UK or Ukrop crews it is better to keep the Challengers out of harm's way west of Dnieper where they can be used for AFU tik tok videos or something. Either way I am certain that Sgt Wilsonsky will be in the recovery crew.
>>48951 >As in, some Ukrainian elements were secretly selling them weapons? It's more like Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Iran are all getting together with Putin and Xi to draft a peace plan that would no longer have Israel and Turkey at odds with Iran's interests in the Middle East peace in the Middle East outside of the Caucuses, and Zelensky is desperately lashing out at Assad under American orders because a Middle East friendly to Syria is a Middle East not currently in any major conflicts with one another (Saudi-Yemeni and Azeri-Armeni shit aside) and generally aligned with either Russian or Chinese interests. If that happens (a peace deal instead of just groundwork for one), then it won't matter what NATO does since Russia will effectively have two supply lines from China/India to them, one running through Siberia and the other running through friendly Middle Eastern countries that want cheap food or oil.
>>48953 I've had a thought for a while. What if this aid is really just a guise for NATO countries to move equipment into Ukraine without raising Russian alarms. NATO can then later declare war with equipment already in Ukraine giving Russia less time to react, and the equipment can be used to its fullest. Although this requires planning so its likelihood is close to 0.
>>48953 I assume they will just replace western equipment as soon as it gets knocked out on one for one basis. They can say they sent "a couple of Challengers" or "a couple of Leopards" and as soon as one is knocked out, they retrieve it and just ship in replacement one, and you can still say you sent a single digit of tanks. There's some speculation that they're already doing that with M777 and some SPH.
>>48955 I could see USA/UK planning something like this. As Gen Buck Turgidson said "we'd stand a damn good chance of catching 'em with their pants down". >>48956 That would be militarily futile but we cannot rule out the possibility of gross incompetence in a large military/political alliance. For the wunderwaffen to be effective they need to to be present in large numbers. A few MBTs will make no difference whereas a few hundred would enable the big meme assault we're all waiting for. To drip feed weapons will just prolong the war until every Ukrainian is dead along with the EU economy. Again, I could see USA/UK planning something like this...
>>48959 >That would be militarily futile but we cannot rule out the possibility of gross incompetence in a large military/political alliance. Yes and no. Remember, the goal is to drain Russia of men and material, so while it might be militarily futile for UAF, it still gets to accomplish its main goal of prolonging the conflict and imposing additional cost to the Russia. Now, this could have been done much more efficiently by supplying artillery ammunition instead of tanks, but it looks like NATO has severely underestimated ordnance consumption during the wartime ,so their stockpiles are substantially depleted.

>>48990 Snek island is too difficult to keep, and quite frankly I don't think Russia will contest Black Sea anymore. They've already extended grain deal even after they got fucked over and almost none of their demands were met in turn. >>48991 Avdiivka has been a major thorn in Russias side since day one, as UAF is almost within mortar range of Donetsk which they use to shell the city. It would be both major morale booster if they could actually take it or at least neutralize it by an encriclement. They've taken main line of communications a day or two ago but Avdiivka is also a fortress city that has been fortified for 8 years so any advance there is not easy.
>>48901 this. I think anons missed the point of >>48835 No one's saying spreadsheets aren't important, of course there's supply lines, logistics, materiel, numbers, and so on. But the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Humans can likewise be described with anatomy, but we're more than just flesh machines. The spirit needs a body to manifest, but once there's a functioning body, it can attain emergent properties which are governed by higher spiritual forces. This is true of us humans, and it's also true of warfare. If mundane, earthly things can connect with the divine, then there's no reason to assume that spiritual powers don't have a stake in Ukraine. The attitude of Materialists is >if I can't observe or measure it, it must not exist which is a very narrow-minded way of thinking about the universe.

We're talking about a people who build entire cities and will cut out the most important part just to save a few pennies, the sewer and storm drains. Hence why they've got cities that are under water every monsoon season. There's a reason the smartest Indians work their asses off so they can leave India as soon as possible. If Russia was ever so desperate that they'd turn to Indian arms to fight a war then their days as a sovereign nation would effectively be numbered which isn't the case currently. >>48788 >speaking of Shaheds line of drones why do they come in giant pringle cans Simple, a pringles can is space efficient which lowers the cost of transporting them. Well I mean I'm sure in the long run the UK will suffer some cyber attacks or infrastructure sabotage but I don't expect nukes to ever go flying towards London any time soon. >>48805 >No word yet on whether they did it in an environmentally-friendly manner. Worry not, they enabled eco peddle assist on their way back back to base.
>>49017 Can't claims of "the spirit of war" only exist because all counter-examples of that spirit of war were wiped from the face of the earth by the entirely materiality of war? You can't have any counter-examples of spirit of war not working if all the idiots who followed that logic are fucking dead/absorbed. The spirit of patriautism and being part of a greater work certainly have a sway that we lump together as "morale" in modern context, but war is an entirely material thing fought for entirely material reasons. Whether you believe Russia wanted to save Donbass citizens from genocide or that the Russians are simply there for cheap resources, the Russians are not there for god or some greater nonmaterial plight. Similarly Ukrainians aren't fighting for god and country they are fighting because they face a death sentence out back if they don't and the leaders are fighting to preserve their drug-fueled orgies and child pussy. War is an unholy affair even if guns and wanton chaos/violence are fun.
>>49021 >About 2,000 residents are still living Avdiivka Isn't that proof that the Russians were only intentionally striking military targets? Makes sense. The water processing facility for the city is somewhere in that area IIRC and up until about 2020 coal miners were still digging the shit up despite shelling from both sides.
>>49023 >hence why their attempt to get into the semi conductor industry or consumer PC market failed spectacularly. No, their semiconductor industry failed because Apple realized that 600 rupees a month (about $20/month at the time) wasn't going to cut it for a lead engineering position in an urban population center when the cost of living at that time in that urban population center was about 30,000 rupees per month. Which they still couldn't pay on time. Tech companies tried to start factories up all over India before realizing that after actually paying everyone it was comparable to paying people minimum wage in a first world country for the first 5-10 years, and bailed on the projects. You see, China uses literal Uyghur slave labor who's only other options in life are marrying a fat bald bastard or signing up for (an) army, so they get all the benefits of third world countries polluting the shit out of everything with all the benefits of a totalitarian dictatorship not having to pay people anything except the clothes on their backs and the food in their bellies. There are plenty of gripes to have about India but blaming the fact that they couldn't compete with literal slave labor isn't really a jab, anon. >Ever heard the proverb 'China's final warning'? Yes, but Chinese threats are typically just hysterical screeches and gaslighting. Not precise "if you give Ukrainian Challengers depleted Uranium rounds, we will treat it as a nuclear threat giving us the right under our doctrines to use nuclear artillery at our discretion." That's an "if-then" statement that can be acted on in 3-8 months if Russia feels like it. They already hinted that the drone taken down was just the first of many revenges that will take place over their flagship because they're still asshurt.
To add onto >>49030 >>49023 >We're talking about a people who build entire cities and will cut out the most important part just to save a few pennies, the sewer and storm drains. In neither of those two cases is it about cheating and backstabbing or any of that other nonsense. In the case of storm drains, they've made leaps and bounds since 2015. The issue is that storm drains until 2015 were treated as a municipal-level problem instead of as a regional problem. Since transferring it to the regional governments they've made leaps and bounds in drainage, with most of the pitfalls being from poor or nonexistent recordskeeping on the part of the municipal engineers. In the case of sewage, the issue primarily stems from the fact that the local cities are allowed to maintain their traditional forms of governance even when inefficient. This translates to building projects getting the immediate greenlight because it's instant cashflows into their pockets, but then they're left footing the bill for the sewers. The cities have a choice between requesting aid from the regional government (who looks at the price tag and defers it to the federal government who takes 10 years to make simple and obvious decisions because of the levels of bureaucracy), and taxing people to build the infrastructure. Nobody likes being taxed for something that doesn't directly benefit them, and the city has to basically ask for each tax outside a few places, so naturally no tax can be collected since the people think it's the regional or federal governments' job to pay for the sewers in India. Some places in India manage wastewater just fine and even produce energy from the methane from the anaerobic process. As for rural street-shitters, to be honest even here people have outhouses and if I lived in a hot and humid climate I'd rather shit in a field than in an outhouse too. Bugs and bacteria would probably eat the shit within hours or days anyways if it's just a small family shitting there.
>>49009 >Avdiivka is also a fortress city that has been fortified for 8 years so any advance there is not easy. Sounds like another azovstal in the making. >I don't think Russia will contest Black Sea anymore. Maybe when (if) Russia takes a go at Odessa, but otherwise I would agree.

All parties must stay rational and exercise restraint, avoid fanning the flames and aggravating tensions, and prevent the crisis from deteriorating further or even spiraling out of control. All parties should support Russia and Ukraine in working in the same direction and resuming direct dialogue as quickly as possible, so as to gradually deescalate the situation and ultimately reach a comprehensive ceasefire.  4. Resuming peace talks. Dialogue and negotiation are the only viable solution to the Ukraine crisis. All efforts conducive to the peaceful settlement of the crisis must be encouraged and supported. The international community should stay committed to the right approach of promoting talks for peace, help parties to the conflict open the door to a political settlement as soon as possible, and create conditions and platforms for the resumption of negotiation. China will continue to play a constructive role in this regard. >How the fuck can you call that a peace plan with a straight face? It's empty platitudes. Interesting graph posted by The Times. No way to know exactly how many actually got across the border and how many are KIA. But given how first thing when SHTF was to ban travel abroad for military able men, I'd say majority are actually traded in Ukraine.
>>49266 Looks like there was a huge hole in their demographics even before it kicked off. What went on 20 years ago that stopped them from having kids?
>>49272 The collapse of the soviet union and thirty years of mail-order brides and child trafficking, anon. That's where that male:female disparity comes from too. Didn't you know that until Obama, Russia and Ukraine were the primary place single people and gays went to adopt children since Slav orphanages will slip you a kid for a few hundred. Obviously predators also went to "adopt" kids (wives). >>49266 I find it amusing that even the Times recognizes that mail-order brides will increase in the following years. I think it will be worse to be female if Russia takes over Ukraine since there will be a shortage of men, but if Ukraine remains independent it will be hell on Earth for men for the next decade or so there while becoming a matriarchy culture.
>>49242 My favorite part about the NATO process is all the coping from Sweden. First it was so important and certain that Finland and Sweden would join at the same time, then it gradually became "We're happy for Finland, but it's also very important that Sweden join too. Please." The NATO meeting in June will surely be the time when Sweden becomes a member, surely. It would be so funny if Sweden doesn't get to join by then.
>>49277 Not to mention that if Finland is in, then it doesn't even matter if Sweden is a member or not, simply because invading Sweden from Russia is de facto impossible in the current situation. Except if Russia decides to build a fleet of ekranoplans and try to take over Sweden in a single day. But even then, supplying those forces without encroaching on Finland is not realistic. So it really is just empty posturing on everyone's part.
>>49276 >That's where that male:female disparity comes from too That disparity is all over age 50. Women live longer than men in every western country but in Slavland the disparity is exaggerated by hard work and hard drinking. >if Ukraine remains independent it will be hell on Earth for men for the next decade or so there while becoming a matriarchy culture. Ukraine will not remain independent. It will join EU then the shortage of men will be 'solved' by mass importation of niggers. >>49278 >Russia decides to build a fleet of ekranoplans and try to take over Sweden in a single day. That would be kino.
>>49272 Dissolution of Soviet Union and subsequent economic clusterfuck as well as corruption and privatization destroying remnant of economy. Also there was a lot of economic emigration to the EU/West
>>49278 >>49280 The best part about a Swedish-Russian war is that's how it would have to happen, but it's still a plausible war. If Russia managed to take Gotland before Sweden could mobilize their airforce than they would lose their terrain advantage. If Russia managed to attack Oland (unlikely) Eastern Sweden would fall in about six months. NATO would be too worried about Russia mobilizing to attack Finland/preparing for siege in Kaliningrad to realize the Russians' target is actually Sweden. Russia would also never do this unless they had already taken or were concurrently attacking NATO's cock in the cigar cutter (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania but primarily Lithuania).
