Pixel artist looking for a coder to create a NS game Vasily 11/21/2020 (Sat) 05:11:18 No.13510
Heil Hitler, friends! My name is Vasily Kukushkin, I'm a Russian pixel artist and consider NS as my worldview for many years. You may know me, I posted on 4kike and 8kun about creating a NS game called "Der Sieg" about a year ago. It's a pixel art, top-down action rpg about the British Gestapo detective in the year of 1944, who fights against communist terrorists. The story takes place in London, which is occupied by Germany, since Reich is winning the war in game universe. Story revolves around investigation of an antifa terrorism in the city and slow progression of the main hero's values from just English patriotism to the White racialism, which should redpill the player. There is also some humour, a bit of romance and tragedy mixed in. The gameplay in idea should be something like a somewhat simplified fallout 1-2 game, with turn based combat, different weapons, which can be upgraded, a lot of redpills in the form of collectibles like alternative universe NS posters, musical records, newspapers and so on. Der Sieg page on the Gab: gab dot com/Der_Sieg I honestly tried to create the game in Gamemaker engine, several times with different approaches but since I have no programming skills, I failed. I've got to the point of having a working version with different enemies, working movement, weapons, music, menu, sounds and some settings, but basically all of it was done through video tutorials, so then I weren't able to move on. The year passed. Now I'm working on improving my drawing skills in order to draw "Der Sieg" in a form of a pixel art comic story, but the idea of a game still lives in me. It unironically would be faster to create a game, than to draw a comic in pixel art (and it would have a much better redpilling effect). I have a complete story, a bunch of finished textures, ideas of game mechanics, thousands of sound effects, alternative universe ranging from 1940's to 1990's etc everything you need to create a game (or even a game series, because I have several stories set in different decades and in different countries). I am asking for help. It's surely won't be very easy. But it's possible to do. I'll provide everything except for the code. If anyone want's to co-operate with me and create a NS game which will set a new level for this genre - please, contact me via e-mail: Der_Sieg@protonmail dot com Also, if you have any questions regarding "Der Sieg" - please, feel free to ask them via e-mail or this thread. Best regards, Vasily

>>13510 Sounds interesting, check out /agdg/ on 8moe or sleepychan I'm sure someone would be interested in programming it >>13513 >cope with what? the fact that he's making a game? I'm confused

looks cool so far. >>13511 for some reason, I saw the Volkswagens as robot masks at first glance.
I can't help you but I wish you good luck, it looks very promising.

linux pc ? it would be hard to publish on other platforms without leaving sniffers about who coded the stuff

Wow this really looks great, nice classy artstyle, nice attention to detail, you have it down. I'm no programmer but I'm willing to help in any way i can. I've always dreamt about a proper game like this. With all these characters you should incorporate some 3rd to 1st person mode instead of full isometric, it gives a game more character. And since the player is a detective some kind of inspirations could be taken also be taken from papers please I think. I don't know what character arc you are taking exactly and it but I'll just add that for a "maximum redpill effect" maybe the player should be somewhat personally "resistant" or maybe even "hesitant", in any case not too sure about what he's actually doing at first and have some lack of understanding before something could happen and an explanation occurs, either in the story himself or by another character as to the meaning of the struggle/National Socialism where he basically gets redpilled, pros if the incident is realistic and tragic enough. The character should also have basic real things such as a home and scenes there. Multiple choices is also important. The characters have to be engaging with the player enough so that what they say is possible to connect combining both relatable truth, jokes, normie and inside humor, humor is extremely important to break the ice in general. You could also include some animated historical scenes in there, such as the tragedy where Rudolf Hess despite all odds getting on his airplane and flying to britain in attempts to establish peace with the british gets imprisoned/tortured instead even though his cause was heroic and noble the allies wanted no peace.

>>13554 Thank you! I'm planning to do comic-style cutscenes, where such close and detailed angles can be used. Indeed, the character would be not so friendly to Germans, who conquered his homeland, but the story will show that he has his own reasons. I absolutely agree with you on the humor part, not only it will make game more enjoyable , it will also allow redpills to be swallowed unnoticed. I'm planning to include a bit of anonymous culture banter that only anons would get too. There will be a lot of correlation with history, you bet! Well, if I'll be able to find programmer to sew all of this together with code...
>>13554 >Women and non-Whites as fake gamers I get the "fake e-girl" gamer but I don't get the non-White one. As in, they are SJWs? Besides some women in gaming just want to play games without any issues.
>>13574 Doesn't make any sense to me either. Honestly I could care less if non-Whites or women play games as long as they don't push marxist bullshit.
This is extremely wholesome. So you're from somewhere in Russia and you work on something like this using your unique talents. It's always nice to see where others are from because it makes you become aware that we're all over the world engaging in so many different ways with the truth. I already dig the pixel-artwork and I'm sure you will find someone who knows how to code to help you with this project. Judging from what you've already completed so far it sounds like you're pulling off the redpill-depth in the storyline, dialogues, collectibles... which is exactly what we need - more creative and artistic energy and dedication in our communities to reach out to areas outside of our own and connect. Thank you for working on something like this. Greetings from Germany

>>13833 Thank you very much, anon, I appreciate it.
>>13510 I have a very basic idea of how to code and I'm definitely not the best at it. I'm actually pursing a college degree in the matter but I have a question for you. What computer language would you like the game coded in? Right now I have a very basic idea on how to code in HTML and Javascript. I don't think either of these would necessarily be helpful in the game but I want to eventually get into C++. I'm definitely no professional by any means but I imagine i'll get there.

>>13510 http://programarcadegames.com/ Found a great website to learn the basics of Python by building a game (through a library extension called PyGame). Anyone could just focus on building Der Sieg as they work through the lessons. Could be a useful tool for inexperienced anons looking to contribute. Vasily, I barely know anything about coding, but assuming PyGame can import gifs, and you can animate your pixel art in an importable format like that, this should enable you to build out your whole game. Great idea, and a creative way to spread redpills. HH, brother.

>>13900 Good day to you! I think that it would be best to make game on Godot, since it's free and open source engine + it's pretty powerful. (I've worked on GM previously, but Godot seems to be better and intuitive for 2D) It has its own program language called GDScript which is very similar to Python. Also, there is version of Godot with C# support. >>13901 Thank you very much, I'll look into it!
