What's up anons? Let's kick it. Anon 02/21/2022 (Mon) 21:11:16 No.6425
Is anyone else trying to rekindle the joy of being young or is it just me? Tbh, I feel like I'm trying to relive something I never experienced in my youth. So here I am, attempting to make online friends. Lame. Tell me about yourselves frens.
>>6425 >Is anyone else trying to rekindle the joy of being young or is it just me? I try to, but getting back in the naive mindset of childhood is like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube for me.
bump
I'm of two minds about it. On the one hand, I missed out on a lot of stuff and part of me wants to experience it. On the other, I missed out on a lot of making stoopy, pointless mistakes and I'm kinda glad about it. I sometimes try to rekindle times when I was younger, being up til 5am playing vidya and watching Youtube videos (now sipping a drink), I need it from time to time.

The rest of the time is me making those dumb mistakes now , but with the small group of friends now (like drinking together while listening to the music we used to about 10 years ago) lmao>>6442
>>6445 wow please excuse the horrible formatting, I don't even know what I did haha
>>6439 It's def difficult. In most cases, I try to ask myself what wood I have done/wanted if I was younger.
>>6425 >Is anyone else trying to rekindle the joy of being young or is it just me? Most people on imageboards do. It's easy since there's such an easy exposure to the past media
>>6457 what are some other ways that you do anon?

I didn't have much joy growing up. Games, books, and eventually the Internet were for the most part escapes rather than joyful experiences.
>>6502 how do you feel about them then versus now?
What's your discord OP, let's get comfy
>>6536 It's already comfy here? Why wood you go somewhere else?

I think the best part, what I really desire from my childhood, isn't necessarily the experiences or the surrounding environment, but rather my personality. I remember being more curious and trusting back in middle school years, I'm more cynical and smug now, though fortunately it's getting better. Speaking of, OP did you ever figure what is it you wanted to relive? >>6502 >were for the most part escapes rather than joyful experiences Likewise. At least, they were fun escapes, the Internet was way wilder back in the day.
>>6535 To bee honey I prefer nowadays where I'm not scared of berry uncomfy happenings all the time.
>>6537 Not enough traffic here. But there's allchans.org for a couple dozen links to other image boards with similar activity. Hopefully it's back up by the time others read this post.

sup guys, OP here, checking in, hope you're all doing well. Just went to an engagement party for my eldest niece. Man that day made me bummed, seeing all the same faces from my childhood, just older now. Back then I was so naive and oblivious to all the dirty laundry eberryone had, but now knowing what eberryone is, as well as having a microcosm of emotional depth, eberrything just seems so sad. >>6538 >Speaking of, OP did you ever figure what is it you wanted to relive? naivety, innocence. i dunno man, something that constantly feels unobtainable.
