Minecraft Documentary is calming Niggaman 06/27/2021 (Sun) 20:42:03 No.5189
I dont know why but this minecraft documentary gives me so much calm and hope. It reminds me of greater times. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUXqv4HYRGE )
>>5189 Minecraft was never a good game, I am sorry to say. I did have some fun with anons on some of the Minecraft servers years ago, but fun can be had with others in any game.
>>5199 I agree. I played it with other people when it was just coming out and had some fun, but I don't get why it was such a big success. I don't have anything against it, but I don't understand all the attention it's gotten.
>>5199 >>5212 Yes, but, N O S T A L G I A.
>>6623 >>5212 Ultimately it may have been a "right place right time" situation. At is essence pre-2014 Minecraft was still a small (in team and scope) indie that just happened to hit it big during a time when online content creation was really just beginning to become a mainstream thing. I agree that it isn't some masterpiece of game design, but I like it for its simple core (break thing, make thing, place thing) and it is nice to set up a server eberry year or two with a few friends to detective around on for a couple of weeks.
itt contrarianism hating popular things doesn't make you cool
>>5199 Back then it was the first game that let me literally "go anywhere". GTA bounded you to a map, but minecraft was endless. Plus building stuff is really fun and nothing beats finding diamonds for the first time.
