Liru the Werewolf Anon 01/03/2023 (Tue) 15:37:42 No.2251 [Reply]

>>2667 And if I accidentally on her tail one day, what then? Where do I run hide from those vicious fangs Anon?
Yes, she is a werewolf but she is incredibly kind, good natured, educated and mature (at least compared to the other princesses) She woodn't lash out in anger unless you were in the clear wrong. I woodn't cross her, we know where that can lead but I really doubt I wood be able to get close to a situation where that wood be likely.
>>2679 Well, you do make her sound appealing Anon, I'll confess. Am I allowed to put a muzzle on her at the Adoption Agency first?
Liru is a princess.

Operation: Rebuild /comfy/ !! Anon Board volunteer 12/29/2022 (Thu) 08:05:32 No.34 [Reply] [Last]
ITT: We all rebuild /comfy/ together! First things first; we have a raw archive of /comfy/ saved from back in June 2022. There are five, ~500MB pieces to it here: https://anonfiles.com/jbBaT9O0yb/comfy.7z_001 (524.29MB) https://anonfiles.com/82IeXeO5ye/comfy.7z_002 (524.29MB) https://anonfiles.com/Q6SbY0O7y6/comfy.7z_003 (524.29MB) https://anonfiles.com/w6qba0P1yc/comfy.7z_004 (524.29MB) https://anonfiles.com/BcY7a9P3yc/comfy.7z_005 (496.87MB) Download all 5 archive files into a single directory, then they'll need to be reassembled together again. -For UNIX, you can concatenate the pieces together thus: cat comfy.7z.* > comfy.7z Then, expand the full archive out locally: 7z x comfy.7z -For Windows, just use the 7zip program (it deals w/ multipart, ie '.001' files, automatically)

>>2671 >I woodn't start to rebuild /late/ if they're just offline temporarily. Ahh. Good point, BO. I suppose my desire for compassion towards them (remember, we had to bring our own board back from scratch too) is making me get ahead of myself. >In the case /late/ is really dead, we may think about it seriously but I really want first to have some words with them. Good thinking. >If anyone can reach them (I see they have a discord but it seems dead to >>2650) and I don't use it myself and can gives update it wood be really appreciated. Sorry I'm not your man, either. I personally refuse to use Doxxcord on moral grounds. >keep the archives preciously as it may be useful Will do. Just like the others, it's a part of our heritage that needs to endure.

BO here. Just noticing by toggling the cyclic option on the thread "archives of the old post here" and adding new posts I deleted the old ones. Man, I'm so upset rn... I... I will re-re-build them, I promise. But this time, no merging as it has broke the things... Man... Come on...
>>2987 That's bad luck BO! Sorry to hear that, thanks for putting in all this effort to restore the board.
>>2987 Yes, it's the nature of a cyclic. It's intended to keep a thread's post count under a set limit, in /comfy/'s case that's 500 posts. As you probably know now it's the first posts that were slid off the thread. The last 500 are fine. Sorry I wish I could have warned you if I'd known. Thanks for all your efforts, BO.
>>3103 No problem. Just back at it rn. I just learned the hard way what cyclic does... I really feel like a goober as it's clearly stated in the modration manual. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dreams thread, the /comfy/ awake in the sleep Anon 12/30/2022 (Fri) 16:49:15 No.913 [Reply]
It begun with a small tale of an old man dressed in eastern clothes, how he described the actions of a hero who never returned. As he was speaking actions of martial arts and combat were in the background, sketches of them, until he names the title of the event entuthiastically, where the characters strike a pose and the art gets detailed in the middle of the screen. The last segment of it there was a map like thing, it showed the progress that was made in the story, the last bit the protagonist made was on a boat that was turned upside down, the bodies were floating under it. For eberry step before it, a small scene wood habben in the map, the last scene had the hero pushing over the giant baron from a cave and going to the coast to get to his their boat Before getting out of the sea, there were two demons protecting a pagoda thing in a berry abrupt cliff with a thin bridge. One of them had one arm as the wing of a dragon and red, he protected the door, the other one was green and had tenctacle like hair and protected the bridge. The villain in the tower always has a story of where the characters that dissapointed him are thrown to a pit where the character's mother died. it consists of a destroyed staircase where the way out is by jumping to the cliffs that have been separated. Many just end up falling to their deaths. And in one point, the red winged man gets sent to it, tries to get out, only for some force to slap him on the head and his skull to hit a wall and slides to his death There is also at one point a baron of hell like creature emerging from one giant hole, only his head is seen, but it's huge and hides the sun in a moment. The sky was dry orange and the ground was like the grand canyon. Imagine Mario Kart 64's Yoshi's Canyon with all the roads being small and falling from them sending to your doom, it was like that but with more highs and lows, a pagoda/eastern castle hidden between the mountains, and small bridges and ropes connecting small locations The appeal of the story is that it was narrated by anons from one imageboard since many years and as it went on it got expanded. story of one man who went to the island of twisted cliffs and canyons to get revenge at those who killed his mother. The visuals were similar to those old greek myth movies from the 50s. The character may've worn a torso armor that only covered his torso, and brown leather shorts, but he did look like a greek warrior from those movies with his hair curled and an absolute unit. Unrelated, I was stuck on a high tree at some point, like 20 meters tall. I asked a man down there if he could call the firefigters for help. I descended with a rope tight in my waist. When I got to the ground the sky was oddly clear, a colour combination between light blue and chrome. I came across an old man, we exchanged some letters and he gave me the name for a writer of a book. then I walked to the horizon where there was more light blue/chromed things, probably a city, probably a pier. probably a path in the middle of the water, probably a path with the waters next to it and leading to the city. Been a while since I had dreams like this, I think it's due to practising something I like to call "Musical Visualisation" where I imagine a setpiece, scene, or environment from the music I'm listening. This time it was pic related, I think getting to focused on Corona-Chan's journey is letting me forget the things I was capable or I am capable of.

can someone interpret this dream? i walked outside my house, it was dark, i was alone. i stood in the front yard and had a coughing fit. you know when you cough so hard that it scratches your throat? it was like that, but i coughed so hard that my uvula (the little pink dangly thing in your throat) dislodged and flew into the grass. i got on all fours and started looking for it. i finally found it, it looked like a slimy piece of bubblegum covered in dirt and grass clippings. i stood up and put it in my mouth and swallowed it, thinking that it wood magically reattach, but as i swallowed i realized how stupid that was and that now it was going into my stomach, and it wood be gone forever.
>>2652 I couldn't give an interpretation on this one but it made me laughing a bit imagining anon on all fours in the grass searching nervously for his uvula. There may be an interpretation for all the dreams related to the body, especially when it comes to the dislocation of it. It remember me a weird dream I had younger, really brief, I was ejaculating blood.

Suddenly the black mist disappeared and was now a bright sunshine-filled day with lots of birbs tweeting cheerily, fluttering and just doing birb things everywhere. The tree itself had become a huge & beautiful old cherry tree filled with more blossoms than Traveller had ever seen before in his life!

How was your day, anon? Anon 12/31/2022 (Sat) 15:49:44 No.1300 [Reply]
Divulge your failures, your triumphs, and your struggles from the day. No event too small to mention! Today, I had a lot of fun cleaning the floors in the home. I ran up and down the hallway with a soapy towel, got on my hands and knees and scooby-doo scrubbed the kitchen and bathroom floors, and was completely exhausted and satisfied by the end of it.

>>1349 I can relate to your pain anon. I often lose a precious girl younger. It takes me years to finally starting to deal with the pain after harsh years of depression. Today I still think about her but without the pain (at least just the little stingy feel of heart broke remains). I hope she's doing well. >how to cope Man, I can't really be helpfull with this as I myself couldn't cope with the deep sadness I was in. Take your time, try to not focus on the pain and keep moving on. KEEP MOVING ON !!! And be prepared untill you come around your 30's love sadness will be really hurting. That's what the life teach me about. >>1356 Hurting / killing animals is definitively NOT comfy anon. This poor horse have nothing to do with your story so please leave it alone.

A day like another, waking up, listenning music with coffe then going to work. It's early in the morning and I will be in my bed soon. Spend all the free time I had this night to work on the board. Why don't you wear a "home outfit" anon? Anon 12/29/2022 (Thu) 17:43:12 No.606 [Reply]
The first thing I do when I get home is to change my clothes for my "home outfit". This is important for me because it allows me to mark a frontier between the outside world and my comfy den. This is an old habit from a time I was living in a big city and not wanting to bring the outside dirt and sadness inherent in that kind of environment into my home. Now I live in the country but I have kept this ritual. What's your favorite "home outfit" /comfy/ ? I generally put some old jogging pants, old t-shirts or sweaters depending of the season. I also have a warm bathrobe I like wearing after a good shower and staying naked underneath. Also I never wear underpants, they're not comfy for staying at home. I'm always barefoot, sometimes with socks when I feel a little bit cold.
2 posts omitted.
I know this practice is more common in certain country, here it's not common at all and most of people usually thinks it's weird having a dedicated outfit for home.
White undershirt and Zubaz or shorts. I never wear shorts outside of the house, but at home I like them berry short. I got these Jambys, and not to shill, but they're really great. After almost a decade I had to finally retire my Vans that had become house shoes. For Christmas I got a nice silk robe and I'm really liking that.

>>1507 Uh ? I don't remember having put a spoiler. >>1511 In the same style I like qamis it's a kind of djellaba wore by muslims. There is also a kind of djellaba but thicker and usually with a hood that is perfect for winter. I can't remember the name of this one specifically. A farwa looks bretty nice to.

What's you favorite season anon? I usually love autumn for the melancholy feels and the smell of the forests under the rain. Winter is really nice if you have a warm and comfy place to spend time in. I like being outside for long walks in the cold night tho, especially if there is snow. Spring is pleasant, lot of flowers and nice perfumes in the nature. I can feel deep into my soul and my body the rebirth of the nature.
7 posts and 2 images omitted.
>>742 Cold weather just makes me feel awful and lethargic. Anything below the 60s Fahrenheit I layer up for. I'd absolutely take a 90-degree day over one in the 50s, although I woodn't want to be working outside on a day like that. If I was going for a dip in a lake or something I'd definitely like it though. I must be cold blooded or something.
>>1340 Are you a skinny guy by any chance? You are maybe feeling more cold than eberrybody else.
>>1341 I'd say my build is thin in an athletic kind of way. My body fat percentage isn't at Bruce Lee level or anything though. Now that you mention it, I used to regularly wear long sleeves on sunny summer days when I was a skinny kid. Nowadays I'll usually wear short sleeves on days like that or will sometimes resort to wearing a wife beater if I'm just sitting around indoors. Part of that is due to keeping a dehumidifier running that's made for a bigger area than I use it for, so it really heats things up.
>>23 >I can feel deep into my soul and my body the rebirth of the nature. good. you are true to yourself and the world. Our people will go far. I too love walks in the snow. That gentle crush and crunch from the powder, the eerie silence in the night, the biting cold on your skin to remind you of your humanity. It's truly beautiful. It's really a shame that all the cold places in the US have been overindustrialized and the snow isn't white anymore. I like me some autumn vibes. I ride a motorcycle primarily for transportation and there's no feeling quite like taking a trip down a forested road while the orange and red leaves fall beside you and under your tires as you feel the crisp and moist breeze wash your worries away.
>>1345 This Anon gets it. Shiny-side up bro!
