Was jesus married? Anonymous 05/31/2021 (Mon) 09:22:15 No.951
Do you guys believe that jesus was married to mary magdalene?
No.
>>956 Why?
>>960 Because it is not suggested anywhere in the Bible. Are you a christian? Have you received the Holy Ghost? Unto what were you baptized?
>>961 Yes I was baptized. I'm not a Czech. And technically I'm christian. But right now more of a limbo not an atheist nor a full christian. And why did I ask it. Easilly, because templars.
>>963 May I ask you, what is the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost?
>>964 The holy ghost doesn't have a name does it? But technically those are their names right they have many other names. But I don't know, I didn't read the bible outside of the ones for children
>>965 My friend, to say that the Holy Ghost does not have a Name is a dangerous error. Jesus said before he went up to heaven, thus: "...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.". - Matthew 28:18-20 There is only one Name, as Jesus said. What is that Name then, you might ask... ...It's very simple, 50 days after Jesus left his apostles, the Holy Ghost was poured out and his disciples began to speak other languages. This is the start of the NT. It was on this day the gospel of salvation was first preached. This is what the gospel of salvation is: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." The Name of the Holy Ghost, is Jesus Christ. He has a Son. He called his Son after his own Name.
>>965 >The holy ghost doesn't have a name does it? Lord have mercy... >>966 Begone heretic, go find some other carrion to feed on and another vulnerable soul to prey upon, child of satan
>>967 The Lord Jesus Christ rebuke you. Your blood is upon your own head. My hands are clean. It is written: >So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
>>951 No, that idea was just fanfiction.
>>965 >>966 >>967 The closest we get to a name is Paraclete, or the Comforter or Advocate. The Holy Spirit isn't like the other persons of the Trinity, it is literally the "breath" of God, in a manner analogous to how each individual has their own living breath.
>>971 Sir, I gave you God’s word and you did not hear it. I am not here to argue with you. The Name of the Father and of the Son and of Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ.
>>972 >They are all the same entity yet interact with each other as different ones Please explain, this Unitarian thing is not very sound
>>973 I have not said that. Why have you put your word in my mouth? Please do not put your co-equal person in my mouth next time.
>>974 Do not avoid my question by playing holier than me, i did not say you said that but it is well-known that in the Bible They interact with each other as different entities rather than a knowing same one, so when the issue of God being called Jesus, having a son named Jesus and the Holy Ghost, being the "spirit" power of Them, hence being also called Jesus is an interesting matter that cannot be overlooked.
>>975 You have yet again put your co-equal person in my mouth when I specifically requested you not to do so. I have never said that the Son of God is his own Father, was Jesus praying to himself?
>>976 It is very hard to attract new followers when christians are usually the toughest to discuss things with and lately this has been more notorious to me. >was Jesus praying to himself He prayed famously before his arrest at the Gardens, and multiple times He called upon our Father, one instance being at the cross where he pleaded.
>>977 Indeed! Praise God. Jesus Christ the Son of God not to be confused with "god the son" was praying to his God and Father. The same God all christians pray to!
>>972 While I don't necessarily disagree, as Jesus defines the Christian concept of God, how do you interpret YHWH?
>>979 Actually, while I would like your explanation, I also realized this is an irrelevant issue. However, I will not give my understanding yet, lest it influence your answer.
Back in the day on 8chan you'd get a lot of replies about this but this board is pretty small. You could try googling a theologian's take on the matter.
>>979 First of all, friend, I want to make two points absolutely clear: 1. With all due respect but I have no interest in debating scripture with you. I am here to serve you in the Name of Jesus Christ and in love. 2. There is no command for us christians to interpret anything in the Bible. We are commanded to read it and obey it. If anything needs to be interpreted, it is interpreted in the Bible. Having said that, in the OT, God revealed his Name to people as God Almighty, I AM, JAH, and JEHOVAH. But when God was manifest in the flesh God did not become a man, God revealed his Name further. He did not change it. He revealed his Name as JESUS. Because he shall save his people from his sins. Jesus means Jehovah the Savior. His Name is also written in Hebrews 13:8, thus: "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Notice that the word "is" is not there God's Name is also written in the Revelation: "him which is, and which was, and which is to come". So God's Name, Jesus, means: The one which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty, which is come in the flesh to save us! His Name is Jesus Christ!
>>982 I am also not here to debate and I concur with your formula. However, you do miss one thing, that is that the divine name in the OT is never meant to be used (even where it was in the Hebrew scriptures it was only written as consanants) thus, any God-fearing man can only respectfully use His revealed proper name on Earth, Jesus, or a title.
>>983 Friend, this is not "my formula". This is the Word of God rightly divided. Of a truth, the Name of God Almighty is Jesus Christ. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. The Gospel was preached on the first day of the NT, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. You need to be baptised in this Name and be filled with God's Spirit in order to be saved and inherit the Kingdom of God. As Jesus said, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
>>984 Why are you here spreading modern pentecostalism?
>>985 It grieves me deeply when I bring the word of God to people and they just reject it as oneness pentecostalism. All I can say to you at this point is that my hands are clean from the guilt of your blood. Sir, I tell you of a truth, oneness pentecostals, unitarians, arians, and trinitarians are not christians.
>>986 Don’t forget Catholics
>>986 Add Orthodox and Protestant to the list as well
>>995 Yes indeed.

>>986 >>991 >>995 >>996 >nobody is a Christian, except us Soon all the world will confess that Jesus Christ did not die for all the world.
>>998 This includes the calvinists who wallow in the dung of their confusion. As it is written, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
>>964 Well they are one and the same.
>>1002 Anon, may I ask, where does the Bible say that the Son of God is his own Father?
>>1003 Well they are one and the same god. They are three diffrent personalities and persons.
>>1004 My friend, there is not one verse in the scripture which says "Well they are one and the same god. They are three diffrent personalities and persons." It is written, If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. It is also written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. And so, it would stand to reason, Anon, that one God and one Man does not equal three personalities or persons. The scriptures say, Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. It is not written anywhere that God became a man or that he became his own Son. The scriptures say that God was in Christ and that Christ is blessed by God forever: "whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen." Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is a Man. And in this man dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. This is why the Son of God is rightly called God. Jesus the Son of God and the faithful witness said, I and my Father are one.

>>1005 Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. >"All things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." Hmm, that verse from Colossians seems to contradict everything you said. Christ is Lord and is before all things, eternally pre-existent. The word became flesh and dwelt among us. And as for people who want to teach otherwise? "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." – 1 John 4:3 So, unless you would renounce it, that makes you a spirit of antichrist for denying the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and his eternal pre-existence as the Son. I don't know why you pretend like the stuff you're regurgitating from pentecostalism is Scriptural in face of what it clearly says in Colossians 1:15-17. In fact, I remember clearly quoting this verse before and you having nothing to say about it other than to post more weird pictures of lambs. If you really had the truth on your side, why would you run from that. It just doesn't make sense. Why should anyone believe you instead of Scripture? Why should anyone believe some guy in the 20th century who had an "epiphany" that the name of God was only Jesus. Was he a prophet? Because that's where that whole strange doctrine comes from, not the Bible. You're a pentecostal. That's how I know. A modern aberration preaching manmade traditions. Living outside of the bounds of Scripture. And it shows in the hypocrisy of ignoring Scripture whereever it doesn't accord with your 20th century manmade tradition.
>>1007 Forgive me, for I have no clue what you were refering to concering sharing pictures of lambs. I have never done that on this or any board. Now, Sir, before I share the Word of God with you, I need to make one point clear: The trinity doctrine is of the devil. No trinitarian or oneness pentecostal will inherit the Kingdom of God. Having said that, let me now explain the scriptures to you and may it wash you from the filth of mystery babylon which is verily that whore situated in the Vatican with her abominable doctrines and festivals. ______________ Let us first begin with John 1:1 >In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Praise God! This is the Word of God. Sadly, we have been taught all of our lives by the children of the serpent who call themselves theologians and scholars that the word "Word" in John 1:1 means "the son". But see, the Bible doesn't say that. The Bible says that the Word is God! The only true God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Word. His Word is with him and his Word is him. Just like your word and my word. When you speak, that is your word coming forth, that word is with you when it is in your heart and that word is you. It is not a "co-equal" person to you. That is not what the word "Word" means in John 1:1. It is just that simple. This word "Word" is capitalised because it is the Word of God. If I may use an earthly example: Imagine that you live in a small city with only one bank in it named The Great Bank. When you want to go to the bank, you say "I will go to the bank" and it would be correct. But you can also call the bank by it's proper noun. Then you capitalise the name. You therefore say "I will go to The Great Bank. And this is why the word "Word" is capitalised. Because it is God's Word. His word's proper title is the Word. The same Word which you read in the Holy Bible, King James Version if you speak english. You see, the Word of God isn't a "co-equal" being with God. It is God Himself. This is why in verse 2, it is written: The same was in the beginning with God. If you have a bible that says "he was in the beginning with God", then your bible is not Holy and should be burned. Because there was no one in the beginning with God. The term "The same" is in this case refering to the Word. Not a person. Just like your word is not a person. It is you, your speech. It is also written in John 1:14, thus: >And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. \o/ ! Notice that the Holy Bible says that the Word was made flesh. It did not become flesh. How was the Word of God made flesh? Well, if we look in the book of Deuteronomy, in the 18th chapter, we find this passage written: >The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; according to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. When the Holy Ghost caused the virgin to conceive, she brought forth a human male child. That Child is called the Son of God because he was conceived by God (who is the Holy Ghost). We read that the Son of God increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. And when the time was come, when he was 30 years old, he went down to the jordan river and was baptised. He was anointed with the Holy Ghost! The Spirit of his Father! And from that day forward, God was manifest in the flesh. You see, friend, the Son of God was not manifested in the flesh, for he is already flesh. The one who was manifest in the flesh was God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The same God to whom Jesus Christ the Son of God prayed to and said: And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. This is why the Son of God is rightly called God multiple times in the scriptures. (continued)
>>1007 ______________ Why is the Name of the Son of God Jesus Christ? it's very simple, because he received his Name by inheritance from his Father. >Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Jesus Christ the Son of God inherited his Name from his Father. This is why Jesus said: I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. He said again: I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. And this is also why it is written: >And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. The Son of God did not come in the flesh. Because he already IS flesh. He is a Man. Not a deity. The one who came in the flesh is Jesus Christ, God Almighty, the Father. ______________ The Holy Ghost is the Father of the Son of God because Jesus said so! Philip asked his Lord to show him the Father, what did Jesus say? >Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Who was in the Son of God? The Holy Ghost!! The Son of God was anointed with the Holy Ghost! Godhead is a singular noun that refers to God the Father. There are no "persons in the Godhead". The Godhead is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. >For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. One God and One Man does not equal three persons: >I and my Father are one. (He did not say: "I and my Father are the same person.") >But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. >For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. >to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. >And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. >John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. God who is before all things was manifest in the flesh (continued)
>>1007 ______________ And now we can understand Colossians 1:15-20 by the grace of God! >who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Who is in the image of the invisible God? The Son of God of course! Why is that? Because in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. This is why it says: for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. \o/ ! Who is this talking about? The fairy tale called "god the son"? By no means. This is talking about the Almighty God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who dwells in the Lord Jesus Christ! >In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. >Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; >All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. God was manifest in the flesh!! And by him, the Almighty God, all things consist! Blessed be the Name of the Lord! And he created all things for himself: >The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. It is written further, And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Who is this "he"? Is it God the Father or the Son of God? The answer to that question is YES! Jesus said, I and my Father are one. You cannot separate God Who dwells in his Son. When you see the Son of God standing before you, you will see the Almighty God! And he is the Lord and God of all! And this is why it is written: For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. This is why all these things can be said about the Lord Jesus Christ. Because he is God ALMIGHTY manifest in the flesh!!! The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! I hope that you now see that god the son and god the holy spirit are no gods. And that "pre-existent" is an oxymoron. You cannot exist before you exist. Amen.
>>1008 I'm done admonishing this. I will be a Trinitarian until the day I die, because that's what the Bible tells us. God was manifest in the flesh, 1 Timothy 3:16. He is deity and every knee shall bow. He is divinity. I am sorry that you fail to accept this but pray for the truth of God's word to shine forth. Like it says, "to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." Because without our Lord and Savior, we are lost. With Him, in being reconciled, we are saved. >theologians and scholars that the word "Word" in John 1:1 means "the son". But see, the Bible doesn't say that. "He is before all things." That is what Colossians 1:17 says. He is before all things. For the sake of the readers, here are the references for this Biblical concept. John 1:14 >14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 2 Peter 3: >5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Hebrews 1:1-2 >1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, >2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 1 John 1: >"1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; >2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) >3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." S. John 17: >24 "Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world."

>>1010 >"pre-existent" is an oxymoron. You cannot exist before you exist. Uh, anon, I...
>>1011 >I will be a Trinitarian until the day I die. You are a fool. You will perish in your sins if you do not repent. Your blood be upon your head, my hands are clean.
>>1009 >>1010 I am afraid, sir, that you are (contrary to God's word) attempting to learn unto thine own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) rather than letting the Holy Spirit guide you through clear spiritual teachings. You say a lot of true things, but you take out of them the wrong meaning. Firstly, you frequently misrepresent what the Trinity even is. We, who believe in the Trinity, profess that: >There is only one God >The Father is God >The Son is God >The Spirit is God >The Father is not the Son, who is not the Spirit, etc. What is interesting is that you recognize all of these facts, yet you refuse to believe in the Trinity. You frequently misrepresent what we believe by claiming that we believe the Son is the Father (we do not) or that we worship more than one God (we do not). The scriptural understanding of the Godhead (which itself is a different spelling of 'Godhood' or 'Deity') is that the one true God can consist of more than one person. That is why both the Son and the Father are called God. The Son shares with the Father the status of the one true God; he had always existed. We read in in the words of the prophet Micah that: >Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. (Micah 5:2) See? "From everlasting". He had always existed with the Father, which is why Jesus Christ prays: >And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. (John 17:5). Jesus had glory with the Father before the world was. If he did not exist before his nativity, how come Jesus said to the Pharisees: >He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, >The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? (Matthew 22:43-44) So Jesus (1) had glory before the world existed, (2) was with the Father in the beginning, (3) became flesh. What does that mean? That the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and that the Word (God) became flesh (Jesus)! Jesus, with the Father and the Spirit, are one God yet distinct persons - for scripture says, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." (1 John 5:7). Praise be to God. Oh, and before you say that "persons" are not in Scripture, you may want to look more closely: "Who (Jesus) being the brightness of his (God's) glory, and the express image of his person" (Hebrews 1:3). So the Father is one person, and the Son is another person. I will pray for your soul.
>>1014 Anon, it is written, If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Nowhere does the scriptures say "The scriptural understanding of the Godhead (which itself is a different spelling of 'Godhood' or 'Deity') is that the one true God can consist of more than one person." or "Jesus, with the Father and the Spirit, are one God yet distinct persons" The reason you have imagined that the Bible says that when it actually doesn't is because you have been taught by papism , that great whore to imagine that God is "one being in three persons". Not only is that foolishness, but also blasphemy to the Almighty God. You have not been born again and this is why you cannot understand the scriptures. I already explained who the Word is but you did not hear and that is because of the reason I stated. These unclean spirits which you call "god the son" and "god the holy spirit" are not mentioned in the Bible and will have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone together with all the souls they deceived throughout the ages. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. That one and true God is the Holy Ghost, whose Son is the Man Christ Jesus. And the fullness of the Godhead (God the Father) dwells in his Son. This is why the Son of God is rightly called God in the Bible. In Michah 5:2 it is written, thus: >But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Praise God, this is true. When the Son of God who came out of Bethlehem Ephratah and was baptised at age of 30, God, the only true God anointed his Son with his Spirit. And from that day forward, God was manifest in the flesh and Micah 5:2 was fulfilled. Because in the Son of God dwells the One one whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Who is dwelling in the Son of God? The Holy Ghost of course. What did Jesus Christ call the Spirit that was dwelling in him? >Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. The Father... As Jesus also said: >And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. Jesus Christ said that he had glory with his Father! He did not say that he "preexisted" with his Father. It's not hard to understand, friend. But we have been blinded by the great whore in the Vatican to imagine that Jesus said that he "preexisted" with his Father before the world was. And you know what? Every christian had glory with their Father before the world was. How can I say that? Because Jesus Christ the Son of God was foreordained before the foundation of the world. >Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, And every christian was also chosen by God in Christ Jesus. >According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: And again, christians had glory with their Father as scripture says: >Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. Notice how it is written in past tense. It has already happend. But it has not been manifested yet in the process of time even until now. This will happen in the future, nevertheless, it was true before the foundation of the world! \o/! It is also true that the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world: >And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Was the Son of God slain twice? By no means. For he did not exist before his birth. Neither did you. And in the unfolding of time, the Lamb was slain 2000 years ago. But it was done before the foundation of the world. Repent from the trinity, anon. Will you be among the majority who perish in the lake of fire? I hope not. Seek the Face of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Almighty God who came in the flesh and live! Amen.

>>1016 Anon, christians speak as the oracles of God. Not according to vain traditions or philosophies of men. As it is written, Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
>>1015 Anon I am very sorry to year that still, full of pridefulness, you still refuse to worship God as he revealed himself in the scriptures. I would rather not adress each and every one of your vain insults (which, unfortunately, make up a large part of your comments in this thread). However, I will adress those comments you make to show your distortion of the scriptues. Let us begin with your perversion of the prophet Micah. This is an example of you making the word of God of none effect through your tradition (Mark 7:13). Nowhere does the prophet Micah say "out of thee shall he come forth ... who will be posessed by a spirt whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting". No, in no uncertain terms, Micah tells us that "out of thee shall he come forth ... whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting". According to Micah, the person whose goings forth are from everlasting is the same person as the one who will come from Bethlehem Ephratah! Micah is very clear here. Glory be to God, the Word made flesh, who came from Bethlehem in accordance with the scriptures! Now, let's adress how you respond to Jesus in John 17. >Jesus Christ said that he had glory with his Father! He did not say that he "preexisted" with his Father. It's not hard to understand, friend >And you know what? Every christian had glory with their Father before the world was. How can I say that? Because Jesus Christ the Son of God was foreordained before the foundation of the world. >(etc.) Now, I know this passage from John 17 can easily be twisted into something else. This is exactly why I made sure to cite Jesus's words in Matthew 22:43-44, to clarify what Jesus meant. I am yet to see you answer this passage, since Jesus makes it very clear in Matthew 22:43-44 that he existed before the incarnation. Anyways, carring on with your interpritation of John 17, you quote from Romans 8:30 to justify your claim that Christians were preordained in the same way as Jesus. >>Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. >Notice how it is written in past tense. It has already happend. But it has not been manifested yet in the process of time even until now. This is not what Paul means in Romans 8:30. Notice how in this same verse, Paul says that those who were justified were glorified. Are you to tell me that they were always justified? It is more likely that Paul speaks in past-tense, because they were justified in in the past when they became Christians! Now, I earnestly call you to repent of this invention of man. You appear to believe that Jesus was a created being who was, in some way, posessed by God. The scriptural teaching is that the Word is God (John 1:1) and that the word was made flesh (John 1:14). Not taking control of some other flesh, but being made flesh. Please, anon, repent of your unbelief and blasphemy. Seeing as you say that God the Son and God the Holy Spirit will burn in hell, you celarly need to repent.
>>1018 There is no interpretation. "god the son" and "god the holy spirit" are unclean spirits. He that hath an ear to hear; let him hear. Your blood be upon your own head.
>>1005 I've heard diffrent from my piarist teacher.
>>1032 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
I am fed up with this Luke Skywalker bullshit.
>>1017 All fruitful wisdom comes from God and He is the original miracle.
>>1050 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. Amen.
>>1001 What do you have against Jean Calvin, friend?
>>1065 They preach a false gospel that can save no one. Therefore, they are accursed of God. Nevermind the fact that they bear a lesser name than the Name of Jesus Christ.
>>1066 They did not call themselves Calvinists, just as Protestants did not call themselves Protestants. Those labels come from the Catholic Church, and if their authority you reject that epithet should not matter to you. What is, pray tell, objectionable in their gospel?
>>1067 I perceive that you did not ask the question with earnestness of heart but to tempt and mock. This is not wise, sir. Nevertheless, here is the gospel of salvation according to the Holy Bible as it was preached on the first day of the NT. Thus: “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” - Acts 2:38-39
>>1068 If there is anything to be mocked it is what is said, not what is unsaid. You can declare this or that thing cursed, but if you are speaking through the Spirit and not on your own authority He will give you the words to back it up. What you quoted every so-called Christian would agree with, but unless you contend with their embellishments the sheep will be led into the hands of wolves. Theology is not for the faithful but for the wayward, the heretic and the heathen, and each lost sheep you may recover pleases the Lord as much as ninety and nine just persons. The apostles did not proclaim the gospel for Christians to wield it in sanctimony; to the world Christians of all men are most miserable, charged to preach the faith unceasingly and convert the world in the face of incredulity. The Philistines and the Canaanites cursed Israel by their gods, to no avail, because their gods were dead. If you are an oracle of the risen Christ, the living God, who reigns in heaven and judges the living and dead, the Spirit would bid thee that the defense of the faith is worth no deficit of words. The boundless wisdom of God is poured out on those that repent and embrace the cross. I could easily express contempt for Calvinists, indeed their doctrine lends itself to some of the most hideous concepts ever beheld in Christendom. That you have nothing to say suggests you are apt to simply restate, and you fail to take up the Lord fully in your heart, for when the Lord is with you all under heaven is within reach. "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword," Matthew 10:34. Take up that sword brother, lest you be naked before devils; all His knowledge is your knowledge through the Spirit. As He poured out his blood in zeal and in passion for you and all the world so should your zeal and passion be poured out in sufferings for His kingdom, "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." Matthew 10:39, to venture boldly, even unto the judgement, with joy: "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight." 1 John 3:18-22 This is the Word of the Lord; thanks be to God. Dear friend in Christ, God is steadfast in love and infinite in mercy. In the name of Christ Jesus, Amen.
>>1069 I read the first few sentences of your message and stopped. >What you quoted every so-called Christian would agree with Had you just searched the scriptures just once, you would’ve seen the sheer folly in your claim... It is written: “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:” Of a truth, calvinists, baptists, theologians, catholics, protestants, orthodoxy, episcopalians, methodists, non-denominationals, and every other denomination are not saved. They do not abide in the doctrine of Christ and so, they don’t have God. By taking on a lesser name (denominate), they have excluded themselves from the kingdom of God. Anyone who preaches a false gospel is accursed of God. He that hath an ear to hear, let him hear.
>>1071 Brother, they confess it with their mouths but not their hearts. God's word is true but their intentions are not. You can only reveal their intention if you contend with them.
