John 3:16 KJV: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Read 1st and 2nd Corinthians. Read and see how Paul, an apostle, debases and humbles himself in his writing, as opposed to the Corinthians who continue in sin and don't know it. Why are we fighting here? Why do we act like people who have never read the Bible here? So much fighting, coarseness, haughtiness... We are meek, lowly servants. I don't see a lot of love here and I wish that would change. I hope that we can all examine ourselves and hold each other accountable. >2 Cor. 3:5: Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God We are nothing, God is everything. Everything that is good in us is God in us, not ourselves. We should all take a moment to humble ourselves.
>>24669 >Why are we fighting here? Why do we act like people who have never read the Bible here? So much fighting, coarseness, haughtiness... Because this is a board of miserable sinners
>>24670 That is exactly who Jesus died for.
>Why are we fighting here? Why do we act like people who have never read the Bible here? So much fighting, coarseness, haughtiness... What are you talking about? >We are nothing, God is everything. Everything that is good in us is God in us, not ourselves. We should all take a moment to humble ourselves. Amen.
>>24672 >What are you talking about? Go in any thread here, really. You'll find a multitude of people acting like they shouldn't be, calling each other 'faggots' and 'retards', other slurs, derogatory insults, curses... No love. It's upsetting to me. We are all brothers here, we shouldn't act like this. In general, there is an air of misbehavior and misunderstanding on this board, which is why I strongly recommend a reading of Paul's letters to the Corinthians. I glanced over them today and Paul's brand of loving rebuke is something this board needs.
>>24671 that's what I was getting at Amen
>>24669 Why did Christ say "meanie weanie" things to the scribes and Pharisees?
>>24677 ... or the baptist, or the prophets ?
>>24677 >>24678 There 's a big difference between pride and uncharitable behavior, and telling hard truth with tough love. How do you compare your brothers to the pharisees? Or yourself to the Lord, the voice in the wilderness, and the prophets of God?
