What drew you to being a Baptist. If you're not a Baptist, why not?
I'm non-denominational, i don't really know that much about Baptists, but i've been to a Baptist church before.
Because my God commanded me to raise my children as Christians
>>1366 It's a good point Anon. Frankly I sometimes suspect The Baptist Convention of being a direct invention of globalist-kikes, sames as the Masons and other destructive organizations. The Baptist's promotion of so-called Judeo-Christianity is both an evil, and also rather a large-ish LARP and hoax. I'm sure greedy hand-rubbing sounds are heard the world over at it's popularity among liberal Whites.
Because apostolic succession is important and personal interpretation only goes so far.
>>1369 Independent church is the only way to go. That means no "parachurch" organizations, no high councils, no mission councils, no denominations. Everything done at the congregation level. Communication between churches of like faith and practice only at the informal level. Combine that with all the doctrines of the Bible like baptising converts upon profession of faith (Acts 2:41-42, Acts 8:37) and closed communion (1 Corinthians 5:11, 2 Corinthians 6:14-17, 1 Timothy 6:3-5, 2 Thessalonians 3:6), and exclude all strange and unbiblical doctrines (Romans 16:17) such as pentecostalism or infant baptism or baptism outside of church authority, and you have an independent baptist church. Judeo-Christianity is not a real thing. It's something coined by intellectually bankrupt civic nationalists as a stand-in for "the West" which you also hear a lot of. It's codswallop. The people of God, that is, the Lord's people, are the reason why God has protected us in the way He has so far, not some gnostic talmudist who mistakenly thinks he's a Jew. God is sovereign and He may decide to do with us whatever He wills. I am willing to stake my integrity on the fact that God wants glory to go to His Son, Jesus Christ. In fact, a careful reading of John 3:35 tells us that this is the reason why anything even exists or was created in the first place, in order to give glory to God. >>1370 Amen. "No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation," as it says in 2 Peter 1:20. Always glad to have you on board.

>>1396 Following up on my previous post. The Bible only creates two offices, Pastor and deacon. Christ established the church on exactly two ordinances, baptism and the Lord's supper, or communion. Everything is done by the Bible. That's what we're about as true, born again Christians. There is none of this fraudulent stuff that was invented by the Roman government in the fourth century. That's not the church established by Christ which He spoke of in Matthew 16. Amen. Every state church is wicked and apostate and always has been, because they deviated from the clear rule of God's law and it only goes downhill for them from there. That's why they are split into thousands of denominations, each one still clinging onto a false idea that such a thing was established by God, and not man, in the first place. The house of God meanwhile has been here, God's word has been here, and the church remained in its biblical purity for anyone to join and be baptized into. The truth has never once changed. This is even if some might have had to leave the polluted congregation of a state church sect, and in many cases repudiate their false baptism and in so doing even risk their lives, to do it.
