The soul, the spirit and the body Anonymous 09/03/2021 (Fri) 20:12:54 No.1359
Since 8kun is not working properly, i guess i'll ask here. What is the difference between the soul, the spirit and the body?
>the spirit Wdym? The Holy Spirit? >body & soul The body is the physical soul; the soul is the metaphysical body, ie spiritual. When you sin you damage the soul like cutting the body. Both will at the final day seek their union.
>>1373 >Wdym? The Holy Spirit? I don't know actually, but don't people have a spirit independent of the Holy Spirit? >The body is the physical soul; the soul is the metaphysical body, ie spiritual. When you sin you damage the soul like cutting the body. Both will at the final day seek their union. Do you know any literature that goes into this more?
>>1374 >lit CCC 362-368, 992-1004 Summa Pt 1 75-102 >spirit That would be the soul iirc both are used some what interchangeably.
>>1417 Thank you for the recommendation, but i can't find out what the "CCC" stands for?
>>1418 catholic junk they claim is a part of the bible
>>1424 It stands for "Catechism of the Catholic Church" which outlines & explains Catholicism >>1424 Its entirely separate from the Gospel.
>>1454 Meant >>1418 the first time
>>1359 The body is the flesh. The soul is the passions. The spirit is the (outward) expression.
